The Industrial & Power Association (IPA) is the Scottish based group which supports industry to establish and maintain a secure and sustainable position in providing technology, equipment and services to the power industry in the UK and the world market. The IPA membership is a broad one. It includes generation and network owners & operators, international manufacturing groups, mechanical, electrical and civil consultancies, construction companies, energy specialists, academia and legal advisors. The interests of IPA members are extensive and span the entire range of existing and emerging technologies and services for the generation and transmission of energy from renewable, thermal and nuclear forms of energy. The IPA does not promote one technology ahead of another. The IPA strongly promotes technological advancement that secures diverse UK energy supplies and solutions, reduces emissions, adds economic benefit and enhances the nation's skill employment.
