Professional Skills 100CDE

1. MODULE SUMMARY Aims and Summary This module serves to integrate and support the other modules studied during the year. The module will act as a vehicle for the personal tutorial system and will offer students an opportunity to work in groups, and to explore both specialised areas of technology as well as examining the professional practice, industry norms and ethical issues typically found in their chosen career paths. It will also introduce basic academic research methods such as finding papers on a particular relevant topic, understanding and citing these appropriately. It will introduce web literacy so that students become competent in searching and publishing on the web.
