Bring Your Collection Back Into Focus
Developed in partnership with museums, TMS makes capturing, managing and accessing collection information quick and easy. Core activities such as cataloguing, organizing digital assets, recording location transactions and managing loans and exhibitions have never been simpler.
Many collections, one solution no two collections are alike, so TMS is highly configurable and flexible. TMS provides multiple search and display choices, robust reporting features and a range of import and export options, including easy-to-use tools to configure the systems to meet the needs of each user, object and collection type. Drag-and-drop we understand the need to work more efficiently and have incorporated drag-and-drop technology throughout TMS. This means regular updates and edits take a fraction of the time in TMS compared to other systems. Add images to object records, objects to loan records, and prepare moves all by the click of your mouse. Cost effective TMS provides streamlined support for all collection management procedures and processes. TMS is open architecture so your collection data can easily be integrated with other enterprise systems either through Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. TMS is licensed concurrently allowing you to only purchase what youll use.

TMS > Training

Gallery Systems clients benefit from a wide selection of training courses.
Both classroom and web-based remote training are available.

From advanced application training to report writing workshops, we have the right option for you. Gallery Systems trainers combine hands-on experience in the cultural arena with advanced technical expertise. Because our trainers are committed to giving each student personal attention, class size is limited to a maximum of 10 participants.

Training Packages

The basic training package for TMS includes one day of system administration training and three days of application training. An optional two-day report-writing workshop is also recommended. Syllabi for all three courses are available upon request.
System Administration

For the staff responsible for maintaining the database and application. The one-day course encompasses installation of the software, as well as security, configuration options, TMS administration and associated utilities. Participants should be knowledgeable in relevant third-party applications such as the database server and Windows Server operating systems.
TMS Core Users

A three-day course to teach beginners how to use TMS. The course is designed for intensive users of the program, covering all functions of TMS, including configuration and setting authority lists. Core users training may also include strategic discussions on how TMS will be used in the future. The instructor is available not only for teaching, but also for advice on how best to use TMS.
TMS Customized Training

This in-depth, advanced training on specific workflow is ideal for users who only work with portions of TMS. For example, curators mainly learn about object fields and cataloguing functions, while exhibition organizers focus more intensely on the Exhibitions module.
Data Conversion Review Overview training provides users with enough knowledge of TMS to allow them to review data conversions and provide feedback between conversion iterations. Crystal Reports and TMS

This course teaches Crystal Reports in conjunction with TMS data structure. Prior experience with TMS is recommended.
