GIRL SCOUTS COOKIE SALE

Next weekend, March 3 & 4, after all Masses our Girl Scout troop # 625, will be
selling Girl Scout cookies in the gathering space. So come prepared to indulge your-
self in these great tasting treats and help support the Girl Scouts.

THANK YOU

Wed like to thank all the kids for the great job in preparing and serving at our an-
nual senior Valentines dinner. As always, a thank you also goes to Twyla Mills for
the great job she does in organizing and showing the kids her culinary skills and se-
crets. A thank you goes to all that helped with preparing such a delicious dinner. A
good time was had by all the seniors that attended.

PASTORAL COUNCIL 2012

Our newly elected council members attended the February meeting where they
where introduced and welcomed to their new role in the St. Francis parish commu-
nity. The council members for 2012 are: Fr. Paul Beach - Ex-Officio, Rhonda Ab-
ner-Secretary, Louis Leppert-Chair, Michael Anstead-Co-Chair. Members at large:
Brittany Ballard, Pat Cheney, Cory Feger, Aaron Kelty, Terry Loftis, Savannah
Mattingly, Troy Pitcock and Bobby Shepherd.

THE CATHOLIC MENS CONFERENCE

The Archdiocese of Louisville will be hosting The Catholic Mens conference, at
Our Lady of Lourdes, 508 Breckenridge Lane, on Saturday, March 31st from 8:30
a.m. to 1:00 p.m Major presentations by Most Rev. Joseph Kurtz, Deacon Greg
Hall, Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston TX. For more information regarding this
conference you can pick up a brochure in the back of church. All men of the Arch-
diocese are welcomed.

MOMS CLUB

The March schedule for the Moms club is March 1, Moms Night out at Milla
Nova; March 5, Family Mass; March 14, Preschool Storytime; March 15, Family
Adoration 10:30 a.m.; March 22, Playgroup at St. Francis and March 30, Playgroup
at All About Kids. For more information contact Dianna Kennedy at 296-4845.

WALKATHON
If you havent already, be sure and mark your calendars for our first ever Walkathon
on Sat., March 31 starting at 8:45 a.m. To participate, please fill out a Walkathon
pledge form and return it to the parish office or place it in the collection basket
by Sunday, March 11. With each minimum $25 collected pledge, each walker
receives a t-shirt and water bottle! Extra Walkathon forms are available at each of
the church entrances. Make plans to come!
