Description

: Health and Welfare Service Engine will be the single benefit eligibility, calculation, business
rules, and benefits processing application utilized by ADP to provide core health and welfare benefit outsourcing services to our clients. HWSE will handle the benefit processing for clients of all sizes. It will not only handle the requirements during Open Enrollment but will also handle the ongoing requirements dictated by life events. It is intended that, this system became as THE benefits system for ADP, meaning that other products wishing to provide Benefits to their clients will use the HWSE system. It is an insurance product, which support in U.S. Health and Welfare Administration (HWSE) is a natural extension of ADPs value HR and Payroll preposition and a necessary component of full-service HR BPO offering HWSE is a benefits processing application utilized by ADP to provide core health and welfare benefit outsourcing services to the clients. The prime objective is to assist employers in calculating eligibility for benefits, communicating benefits to employees, capturing benefit elections based on year round events, calculating payroll deductions, transmitting data to carriers, identifying COBRA qualifying events, and allowing clients access to data via reporting tools. This has coverage for Employee who works for that company & they can provide the individual coverage for self, coverage for Dependents & Beneficiaries as well. Responsibilities:

PRODUCTION Support Activities:

Site Scope monitoring tool was used to monitor URL and send page when the

site is down. BPM tool was used to check the web application logins to the Production Servers which helps us to prevent the actual client facing problems.

CA Wily tool was used to check the health of the entire production server JVMs

& take necessary actions to avoid downtime to the real clients by installing the wily agent in all of the Production servers to gather statistics & take necessary actions. Supported a 24/7 data center consisting of over 200+ Production Servers & documented all procedures and troubleshooting/resolving the issues. Diagnosing the problems with the early morning tests by working with other support teams if required and by maintaining the release notes & back-out procedures. Involved in the Production POD build-outs like setting up Websphere Installation, Create & Federate nodes to DMGR, third-party software installations required for the project & application deployments through BladeLogic tool. Application support & troubleshooting the environment issues. Disk usage monitoring by using the threshold limits using respective urgency level alarms in the site scope tool.
