Are you living in the shadow of your family tree?

We can begin by looking at our own and our ancestors difficulties in life. First we will want to research the facts of the lives of our ancestors. Who was married to whom? Who died or left and who replaced those who died or left? Who remarried? Who never married?

Rejections or alienations Tragedies or trauma Unresolved grief Disability Extreme illness Unequal give and take

Great loss of money or social status Adoptions Perpetrators or victims

Identification echoes of someone forgotten (miscarriage, stillbirth, abandoned and/or other early losses)
Imbalance and disorder among siblings

With as many facts as possible about our ancestors life experiences, we may begin a constellation session to reveal the underlying energies and learn how their experiences affect our lives today. Sometimes we bring a constellation session to a concluding scene where all representatives in the system feel peace. At other times, we may end a constellation earlier, simply showing what is in the system that creates the entanglement or imbalance with the sense that the healing process will continue within the person and he or she goes about his or her life.
