1. Introduction
Link to MIC uses the Modbus protocol (RS 485) to collect data from the MIC. For more details, please read the Designers Reference Handbook for the MIC. All data available in the MIC can be logged and stored in an Excel spreadsheet. The data can subsequently be used normally in Excel. After installation of the software, it will be placed on: C:\Program Files\Link to MIC The generated Excel sheets with data will be stored in: C:\Program Files\Link to MIC\ Export. Every day, the data logging programme is started, data will be stored in a new Excel sheet named with the current date. All data logged on this day, will be logged in this Excel sheet. If the data logging is running over midnight, the data will continuously be logged in this sheet until it is filled up (app. 65,000 loggings). A new spreadsheet will then be created and marked with the current date.
