Introduction
The TalkSure product range and solution set is a fully comprehensive offering that enables voice logging on both Trunk side and Extension side configurations. It accommodates Primary Rate Interface (PRI), Basic Rate Interface (BRI) ISDN, Analogue trunks and extensions, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), Digital Extensions on various PABX, Recording and logging of meetings and two way radios are also possible with these logging devices.
Our strength in the supply of this solution is not only in the design, manufacture and provisioning of it, but also the after sales voice data management. As it is now common knowledge that since the introduction of the RICA and then the FAIS Act (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) it is a legislative requirement that financial institutions and financial service providers are required to keep voice calls for periods of 3, 5 and 7 years respectively, dependant of the content of the call and what it pertains to. 2. Logging Technology:
TalkSure is an advanced Call Monitoring, Recording and Logging system which integrates onto all Microsoft Windows platforms. Each TalkSure system is usually delivered as a complete Windows based 19 rack mount industrial server system (Tower version also available). Typically all external telephone lines (also referred to as ports or channels) are monitored by the system in a transparent and non-intrusive way. This means that external callers or users of internal extensions cannot hear or notice that their call is being monitored. TalkSure monitors each line in such a way that the line itself is not affected at all.

Basic Features:
TalkSure offers many advanced features combined with an intuitive user interface. Some of the outstanding features are: Capacity from 4 up to 256 ports in a single industrial 19 chassis, servers can be daisy-chained together to a capacity of 6 servers and utilizing one console thus providing huge capacity or redundancy. Analogue Extension, Analogue CO Line, Digital Extension, Basic Rate ISDN and Primary Rate ISDN (ISDN30). Superior voice recording quality at 64kbit/s, 36kbit/s, 16kbit/s and 8kbit/s proprietary compression. Integrated phonebook to provide detailed caller information. Call Monitoring:
LED Indicators

Idle state, no recording is made. Idle state, no recording is made (Voice Activated mode). Recording of an Outgoing call. Recording of an Incoming call. Recording of a Voice Activated call. Channel not available. Channel available but disabled.
Right clicking with the mouse on one of the line status LEDs will make this options panel appear. Live monitoring of a channel can be started or stopped. A channel can be forced to start to record as being an inbound, outbound or voice activated call. In addition a channel (or all channels) being recorded can be cleared in order to stop these recordings in progress. Click on Edit Port Name to change the name of the Port, example John.

The TalkPlayer screen is used for searching and listening to recordings. The upper list shows all recordings available which have matched the search criteria. The recordings that have matched the criteria can be sorted on every column item by clicking on the preferred columns heading, by pressing the show all button, all recordings available regardless of any search criteria will be displayed. From this screen, a single recording can be selected with the left mouse button and dragged & dropped onto the Windows desktop or for example into your contacts field in Outlook. You can configure the file name and in which audio format the recording is to be converted into during the Drag & Drop operation. How the filename will be composed can be selected as well. Audio format conversion will be done automatically during Drag & Drop and Save/Export operations.

Search Criteria
The Date & Time tab will include the date and/or time into the search criteria. The date criteria allows for selecting a Single Day or a Period or the Last n Days. The Extended Information window will show information from the Phonebook if there is a accurate match available with the dialled (DDI) number or received CLI number. This information can be modified and remarks can be added to it which becomes a searchable field. The list of recordings can be written to file for printing or archiving. Multiple recordings can be saved or exported at the same time

User Management
An unlimited amount of users, each with their associated access rights, can be created A trace can be created of all user activity regarding local and remote client access, playback of recordings and deletion of recordings. When the Use Encryption checkbox is checked, TalkSure will use a default encryption key to store recordings on disk. Entering a random number in the edit box will personalize the encryption key and all new recorded voice files on the disk will be unreadable for other TalkSure systems that do not have the same encryption key programmed. When unchecked, the files will not be encrypted and will be readable by most commercially available audio player programs. When the Enable Time Table checkbox is checked, then on a per daily basis, a selection can be made to enable recordings within a selected time period or outside a selected time period. This timetable is available for all the individual TalkSure ports. Using Force Recording it is possible to automatically start and stop recordings based on this Time Table. Combined with the segmented recording feature it can be used to record audio from television or radio broadcasts.

Hardware Management:

Up to four hard disk drives are supported for voice recording storage. The system will treat multiple hard disks as one combined large logical storage space. It is possible to have recordings older than a certain number of days to be removed automatically

Reporting & Statistics:


Statistical information provided is based upon the information in the voice recording database. This includes full recordings as well as archives (voice contents that are removed, but which have their header information preserved)

TalkLive:

The TalkLive client application enables a user to listen, on a remote client machine with a Windows compatible sound card, to live conversations on selected TalkSure ports / channels

TalkMonitor

The TalkMonitor client application is a more sophisticated version of TalkLive. It enables a 2dimensional overview of active recording channels. By focussing on a cell you can live monitor a conversation on that channel. It is possible to record the channel being monitored to a .wav file

Screen capturing
Optional TalkCapture client software enables high resolution MPEG4 based screen recordings (including mouse and cursor movements) synchronized with voice recordings. Not only important for quality insurance or agent training in Call Centres but also for event reconstruction in for example financial and medical environments. Synchronised playback is done using CallPlayer. During playback the playback control tool can be used and placed anywhere on the workstation. Also the keyboard can be used for quick browsing to the desired part or to pause and replay an important part of the audio and screen recording. TalkLink is a wizard based fully programmable PBX SMDR interface Client program that is capable of integrating RS232 data or TCP/IP data from PBX systems with the TalkSure database. The purpose of this is to include additional PBX extension information to systems that are interfaced to the CO lines of a PBX. In case CLI or DDI information is not available from TalkSure itself , this information can be integrated as well if it is available from the PBX SMDR data
