Introduction to Shareera kriya

Shareera kriya is derived from two root words i.e. Shareera & kriya. Shareera means shriyata iti Shareera it means that is never destroying. & kriya means which has motion or which can perform actions. Dosha dhatu malamulum hi shareeram it means Shareera is the combination of 3 Doshas, 7 Dhatuj & 3 malas. dushanit doshah it means which has capacity to vitiate on getting vitiating itself is dhatus (Vaata, Pitta & Kapha). deha dharanad datava which constitute the body is Dhatu (Rasa, Rakta, Mamsa, Medha, Asthi, Majja & Shukra). Malas are the waste of the Shareera (Mala, Mutra & Sweda). Disease is nothing but disturbance in the physiological function of tri dosha. When doshas are either increased or decreased then this state is called disease. The equilibrium state of all doshas, all dhatus & mala it is called swastha awasta (healthy state). Panchavautik sangathan of tri doshas is as; Vaata- Vayu & Aakash, Pitta- Agni & Kapha- Jala & Prithivi. Cell is the structural & functional unit In modern Shareera kriya can be co-related with Physiology. It is the branch of basic health science that deals with the function of of life. Cell performs metabolism, the living organism & its components & of the bio-chemical & physical processes involved. reproduction, growth & development of Cells - Tissue Organs Organ system & combination of different system forms human body. the human body.

The tissues are the group of similar cells & same specific function.

Different types of tissues.

Fig of epithelium tissue. It forms the outer covering; it is of 4 types namely; squamous, cuboidal, columnar, and transitional. The connective tissue is of 3 types namely; liquid (blood & lymph), soft (adipose, & areolar) & hard (bones & cartilages). Fig of neuron. It is the structural unit of nerve tissue. It consists of 3 parts dendrites (afferent), cell body & axon (efferent).

Fig of: muscular tissue. It is of 3 type namely; skeletal, smooth & cardiac tissue.

Physiology of Organ system of human body

Urinary system helps in Neuro-endocrine system controls & co-ordinates the multiple activities of the cells tissue & organ of the body. Circulation system helps in transportation of nutrition & o2 to all tissue of body & metabolic waste to related organ for excretion. Respiration system helps in oxygenation of blood & removal of co2 from blood. Compiled by: Mr. Krishna
