Transmission & Engine Components (T&EC) is one of the business vertical that contributes about 15% of total Hi-Tech Gears business (2008-09) and manufactures primarily timing gears for diesel engines for light, medium & heavy commercial / offhighway vehicles and transmission gears & shafts for four wheeler vehicles and other applications.

With the objective of building the Green ECOFAC plant, Hi-Tech Gears is aspiring to challenge the IGBC Green Factory Building Certification

Focus shall be on Efficient use of resources (on the principles of 3Rs Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) Maintenance friendliness
