If Mr. Levick is indeed extradited to the U.S. he faces up to 20 years in prison for the charges. However, due to the willful requirement of criminal sanctions violations, he does have a defense as to not understanding the law, i.e., ignorance of the law. That said, if the government can prove the allegations in the indictment, then it seems the willful requirement will be met and Mr. Levick could be convicted.
