Old newspapers can be made into paper mache that can be shaped into animals or other things that well adorn certain homes. Recycled bags are made used plastics which not only help the environment control pollution but can also be a source of income. As what other people say, there is money in garbage. All you need is initiative, creativity and imagination. Environmental This kind of benefits of recycling is environment-friendly. Our Mother Earth is now full of pollutants such as gas pollutants, air pollutants and land pollutants. For example, every ton of paper that is recycled saves a lot of trees that is being cut down to make into paper. Energy is also saved when one recycles and not only that but also water which by the way reduces air and water pollution. Natural resources in the likes of timber and minerals are conserved if we recycle. Destruction of habitats, loss of biodiversity, and soil erosion are prevented by recycling which are due to mining and logging. It helps reduces the greenhouse effect. Emissions of gas occur due to the manufacturing, use, and the disposal of non biodegradable products. Economical The more people recycle, the cheaper it gets. Every family in this world can saved not just energy but resources as well. Old materials from home such as bottles, paper bags, and plastic can be reused as new ones. That way, money spent to buy new ones is saved. Old fabrics can be made into rags and bags which in return can be used. Garbage disposal expenses by the government are reduced because of recycling.
