1.3 Security rules Please read the instructions carefully before using the receiver You will find a lot of information for using the receiver in a correct way and avoid incidents. Please, keep the manual in a safe place

CAUTIONR
RISK OF ELEKTRIC SHOCK DO NOT OPEN

This symbol warms you about the usage of high voltage, with risk of suffering an electric shock.

Warning: Do not open the frame of the receiver. Only the authorized professional staff can repair it. Otherwise, you will lose the guarantee

This symbol indicates some important information you should know about

Warning: Keep the receiver away from liquids. Do not place it near things with water as vases, aquariums and swimming pools. There is a high risk of electric shock when liquids or excessive dampness get inside the receiver. Do not install other devices over it, they can cause the overheating of the equipment and there is risk of fire. The receiver can only be used with the original wire and its plug. Please read the users guide carefully, and if you have any doubts seek advice from a professional. Any opening in the receiver or in the cover of the hard disk cancels the guarantee completely Installation: 1. Never operate the receiver during a storm and nor stay near the system of antennas. 2. Before configuring the receiver, make sure the antenna is lined up and working correctly. 3. Switch the power wire off while handling the connections of the receiver. Also, disconnect it when you are going to be away from home for a long period as holidays. 4. The best place for the receiver is near the TV and other devices as DVD, VCR, CD or game consoles. Choose a stable place where you can make the connections in a safe and convenient way. The plug of 230V must be in an accessible place where you can easily and quickly remove it if necessary. Cleanliness: Before cleaning the frame of the receiver with a slightly wet cloth, disconnect the receiver from the power and from all the others accessories and antennas. Use soft cleaning products if necessary, as disk cleaners, etc. Accessories: Do not use any accessories which are not specifically approved by the manufacturer of the receiver. The non approved accessories can increase the risk of fire, electric shocks and other damages. Place: Choose a place with enough air, otherwise, excessive accumulations of heat can appear. Do not cover/blockade any of the openings of the receiver frame. Places totally unsuitable are the ones close to radiators, sofas and beds. Power connection: Choose an easily accessible socket, so in case you need to switch it off you will be able to do it in a fast and convenient way. Verify that the wire and the plug are in good conditions. Do not pull the wire, always pull the plug. Cover: Always make sure that any liquids can seep through the holes of the frame, if this happens, disconnect it from the power immediately and take the receiver to a specialist. Environmental dampness: When you move the receiver from a cold place to a warm one, please wait until the receiver adapts itself to the room temperature in order to avoid problems of dampness condensation. Maintenance and repair: During the guarantee period, any repair must be done by authorized staff. Otherwise, the guarantee will be cancelled.
