brighten a windowsill with these charming stencilled dragonfly and butterfly clay pots!

Clay pots: 1, 1, 2, 2, 3 White cardstock DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paints: Olive Green, Pineapple DecoArt Dazzling Metallics Paints: Purple Pearl, Green Pearl tools Loew-Cornell White Nylon Shader Brush, Series 796, #6 American Traditional Stencils Blue Laser Stencil: Dragonfly Frame BLF-004 American Traditional Stencils Stencil Brushes Artistic Wire Permanent Colored Wire, 18-gauge: Silver Blue, 13 length; Christmas Green, 12 length; Orchid, 13 length Adhesive Tech Ultimate Glue Gun and Professional Quality Glue Sticks Wire cutters Needle-nosed pliers Iridescent flat glass marbles: green, clear by Cindy Groom-Harry and the CMC Staff. sizes: 1 to 3 basic supplies

newspaper, scissors 4 Cut wire as follows: 4 and 9 lengths from purple (for 1 and 3 pots), 5 and 8 lengths from blue (for 1 and 2 pots), and two 6 lengths from green (for 2 and 3 pots). Bend wire as shown and use pliers to form loop at one end and spiral at other end. 5 Glue dragonflies and butterflies to corresponding wire lengths below spiral. 6 Fill pots with marbles; insert pokes.

1 Basecoat: 1, 2, and 3 pots Olive Green; 1 and 2 pots Pineapple. 2 Using photo as guide, stencil pots as follows: 3 pot: Dragonflys body Purple Pearl and wings Green Pearl; butterflys body Green Pearl and wings Ice Blue. 2 pot: Three-winged dragonflys body Ice Blue and wings Purple Pearl. 2 pot: Butterflys body Purple Pearl and wings Green Pearl. 1 pot: Two-winged dragonflys body Green Pearl and wings Ice Blue. 1 pot: Butterflys body Ice Blue and wings Purple Pearl. 3 Stencil dragonflies and butterflies on cardstock, reversing colors for bodies and wings from colors used on clay pots.
