You will then be directed to the registration page, choose the register here link to register for the free download of the 14 day trial.

The registration is a 2 step process, the fields indicated with an asterisk required fields in step 1, then click on Continue

What are the rules for specifying an IBM ID? Your IBM ID must have the format of a valid email address. It is uneditable and

must be no longer than 80 characters must contain an '@' character that separates the user and domain values (example: lorem@ipsum.com) must be composed of at least two sub-domains separated by a '.' What are the rules for specifying a password?

Once completed, you will receive a screen that states, Thank you for registering with ibm.com. Continue to explore ibm.com as a registered user. Click Continue Log in with your newly created IBM ID and password

Choose Download using http and select your respective operating system installer, then click Download Now

If using Firefox: The file should open up automatically after download. If not, click on the CI22ML.zip file in the download box to access.

If Internet Explorer: A.) Click on Open and simply wait for download to complete and box will appear. (Download time and speed will vary pending on connection speed) Or B.) Click on Save and create a folder for to complete download. Ex. My Documents, create folder IBM SPSS Trial DL then click save.

Maximize or scroll down your box. Find and click on the following software install.

Click on Next to begin install wizard.

Choose Single User License and click on Next

Choose I accept the terms in license agreement and click on Next

Enter a User Name and Organization and Click Next

English language will automatically be installed. Choose any additional languages by clicking on a the drop down next to your preferred language and choose This feature will be installed on local hard drive. Then click on Next

Note Destination Folder, change folder if necessary, an click on Next

Click on Install to begin installation process.

Click on Run

Click OK

Choose Enable for Temporary Usage and click Next

On the Temporary Usage pop up, click on the folder or browse button

Select the temp.txt file, which should be the only file there, then click on Open

The file is entered in automatically, click Next

If done correctly, a Temporary Usage Period Enabled should pop up, click Finish

To begin trial and access the software for usage: Click on Start, All Programs, you should see a IBM SPSS Statistics folder Double click on IBM SPSS Statistics 20 to begin trial
