Narrowed topic: The effects of corruption within the public sector of Jamaica on the people in society. Thesis Statement: As a result of corruption within the public sector of Jamaican the rule of law, the approach of politicians and the attitudes of the people have changed.
Corruption has been listed as the second-most serious problem affecting Jamaica in polls as government expenditure plummets into billions of US dollars leaving us at a 3.3 score, where zero is highly corrupt and ten would imply little or no corruption. This level of public sector corruption has placed a strain on social progress and economic development thus increasing the gap of inequality in society; therefore as a result of corruption within the public sector of Jamaica the rule of law, the approach of politicians and the attitudes of the people have changed.
