Ki Tisa 2012
This is the 3rd Torah portion dealing with the instructions concerning the building of the Tabernacle, yet there is several things that cause this weeks to stand out! Ki Tisa/When You Take covers Exodus 30:11 34:35. As we begin to delve into the text, we find several things that seem to differ from the norm concerning the portions about building this Tabernacle! But this portion also falls this year in conjunction with the Feast of Purim! Even though Purim is not specifically listed in Leviticus 23, youll find that Purim (as well as Hanukkah) are key dates on the Calendar of Yahweh and lend prophetical insights into the last days! This is the 21st Torah Portion of the year (21 = 7 + 7 + 7 or 7 X 3), 21 is quite an interesting number, it is stamped with Covenant and completion (7) yet as always there is a blessed side and a cursed side. 21 times in the Book of Kings it is said that King Jeroboam made Israel to sin (*Jeroboam was the one who led the northern tribes in breaking off after Solomons reign) *21 is closely related to the number 13 concerning the significance of numbers, 21 is the outgrowth of 13 and pictures the fruit of that nature 13 = Bride and echad This 21st Torah Portion teaches us the significance of who we choose to be echad with as the Bride! Our fruit begins to reveal who we have united ourselves with! 1 Kings 11:26 And Jeroboam the son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda, Solomon's servant, whose mother's name [was] Zeruah, a widow woman Jeroboam: Strongs #3379 Yarobam the people will contend; from #7378 riyb to strive, contend, to dispute Nebat: Strongs #5028 Nebat consider

aspect, to look, regard, to pay attention to,

Zeruah: Strongs #6871 Tseruwah leprous; from #6879 tsara to be diseased of skin, leprous, to be a leper *Widow: Strongs #490 almanah widow; from #481 alam to bind, to be dumb or silent, to bind the tongue Jeroboam causes the people to contend in strife and division because he chooses to look, regard, consider, and pay attention to something that will cause the house to be leprous and diseased, their tongue bound and silenced! (*Remember leprosy is the diminishing of the light of Yahweh as our covering, & it goes hand in hand with speaking for His Word/language hence the

reason leprosy goes hand in hand with being silent/unable to speak!) 1 Kings 11:28 30 Garment: Strongs #8008 salmah garment, outer garment, wrapper, mantle; connected to #5566 cemel image, figure, likeness, from an unused root meaning to resemble One representing the house of Joseph while in a field loses a garment; the loss of this garment causes the very appearance and form of the house to be changed and without this garment Israel falls into idolatry and adultery and leprosy, made to sinhmm, sound familiar? 1 Kings 11:40 Solomon sought therefore to kill Jeroboam. And Jeroboam arose, and fled into Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and was in Egypt until the death of Solomon. Once again following the pattern just like Joseph into EgyptShishak: Strongs #7895 Shiyshaq Greedy of Fine Linen With David already having proved the significant connection between Josephs coat/garment/linen and the light/Word/language/seed of Yahweh could it be then that within this Torah portion and the celebration of Purim that we are once again pointed towards the loss of this same garment because we have failed to follow the proper way to regain it, instead allowing greed and the flesh to drive us? And perhaps points towards the restoration as well as it teaches us the proper way? 21 is also the gematria of Strongs #272 achuzzah possession, property, inheritance; from #270 achaz grasp, take hold, seize, take possession *The same number, 21, points both towards something being lost the garment and kingdom torn apart but to something being possessed again! So our next question becomes how do we possess, inherit, seize and take hold of this garment? prefix = I will & chazah (#2372) to see, perceive, look, behold, prophesy, provide; this term often refers to seeing YHVH or astrological observations, a prophetic vision or insight; this term becomes a declaration from Yahweh I will provide for Joseph to see, perceive, and look upon this! Part of our ability to see this deals with something prophetically written in the constellations that we are now being pushed to look and see and behold! The constellational sign that is associated with the month of Adar and the festival of Purim (and therefore this Torah portion as well) is the sign of Pisces the Fish. This sign is pictured as two separate fish each tethered separately by their tails to the neck of Cetus the sea monster (a representation of Hasatan) but yet also upon these bands is the foreleg of Aries the Lamb (representing Messiah)! *Another part of this constellation is referred to as The Band, the

ancient Egyptian term for it is U-Or translated as meaning He cometh, but notice the similar sound to the Hebrew term or meaning light! Just as we are commanded to look and perceive the sign, in Pisces we are given the message of the 2 houses being made one again (Israel/Joseph & Judah, Northern Kingdom & Southern Kingdom the very ones that were separated and torn apart as the garment of Jeroboam was ripped!) As these two houses come together, there is also a choice to make (one that is spotlighted in the life of Esther and the history of Purim) whether to stay tethered to Hasatan (Cetus) or allow the Messiah (Aries) to break that hold and clothe you once again with His light/Word/Seed/Language the garment that was lost! This is in connection with the month of Adar: Strongs #143 Adar glorious; etymologically connected to the term meaning threshing floor; = I will & = generation I will thresh this generation, bring them to the threshing floor (speaking of the generation that will see this garment restored and the houses united). Why would this generation need to experience this? Thresh: Strongs #1758 duwsh to tread out, thresh; gematria = 310, same as aram (#6191) to uncover, to make naked, shrewd crafty (description of the serpent) & the value of omer (#6016) omer, sheaf, a measurement, 1st used describing the form of measurement when gathering the Manna the Word! The purpose for threshing this last generation is to reveal who is still uncovered and tethered to the serpent and to reveal who has gathered the Manna, who has taken the Word once again as a covering! Exodus 30:11 - 13 In the middle of this large portion dealing with the building of the Tabernacle, YHVH inserts this command concerning a census, a numbering of the people, and the offering required for it the shekel! Number: Strongs #6485 paqad to attend to, muster, number, reckon, visit, appoint, look after, or care for *1st reference is Genesis 21:1 And Yahweh visited/paqad Sarah as he had said, and Yahweh did unto Sarah as he had spoken. (A reference to Sarah being made to conceive though once barren!) = mouth, spoken word & 2 = letter root of #6919 qadach to kindle, be kindled, to set on fire They are numbered/visited by Yahweh to determine whether they have conceived His Seed/Word/Light! The evidence is their mouth/spoken word is that same fire/light and as it is spoken forth it causes His light to be kindled in others! *This connects us to Purim and the month of Adar! 2 letter root of Adar 3

is ed (Strongs #108) mist, exhalation, vapor describes the mist that went up and watered the ground/adamah; connected to #181 uwd brand, firebrand, something used to stir up a fire! Purim is the time that the fire/light is being stirred up inside of the Bride of Messiah who has diligently gathered the Manna! Ransom: Strongs #3724 kopher price of a life, ransom, asphalt/pitch (as a covering); from #3722 kaphar to cover, purge, make an atonement, make reconciliation, cover over with pitch; this term carries with it the idea of the imposing of something to change its appearance or nature Remember the garment when torn changed the appearance/nature of the house, now this numbering and the shekel being brought will once again provide a covering for the house, something to change its appearance and nature again! Half: Strongs #4276 machatsiyth half, middle; from #2763 chatsah to divide, cut in 2, cut short Chatsahs gematria = 103, same as #5926 illeg speaking inarticulately, stammering; Isaiah 32:4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers/illeg shall be ready to speak plainly. Plainly: Strongs #6703 tsach dazzling, glowing, clear, bright Shekel: Strongs #8255 sheqel shekel, unit of weight or measurement; from the root #8254 shaqal to weigh out, pay out = Fire & qol or voice the voice of fire! When we bring the offering of the half shekel we go from one who stammers and speaks inarticulately (having been divided and cut off from the garment of His Word) to one who speaks forth bright, clear, dazzling, and glowing (speaks forth the Light/Fire). Its when this happens that no longer will Joseph be known as the one whose garment was rent causing Israel to sin, but instead the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame (Obadiah 1:18). Flame: Strongs #3852 lehabah flame, tip of a weapon, blade of a sword (Hebrews 4:12 For the Word of Yahweh is quick and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword)

Purim
Weve looked at a few links between this and Purim so far, but lets continue to dig! What does the shekel offering that changes the appearance of the house and causes the house to once again speak forth the fire of Yahweh/His Light have to do with Purim?

*Remember that in the book of Esther, her name is originally Hadassah but it is changed to hide her identity to the name Esther, with names carrying with them a prophetical declaration over the individual they are attached to, we can understand that with the changing of her name so changed her appearance and nature. 3 names begin to unveil the mystery that is hidden here and the future it holds for the Bride today! Persia: Strongs #6539 Parac pure or splendid; cognate of #6537 perac to break in 2, divide, the Aramaic term for a shekel The same letters that spell Persia, also form Strongs #5608 caphar to count, recount, number, declare, rehearse (*Remember the shekel was brought when the people were counted/numbered) & #5635 caraph to burn Shushan: Strongs #7800 Shuwshan lily; 2 letter root ( shesh #8336) something bleached white, linen, fine linen (the makings of a garment/covering); attached to this is the suffix = to diminish, make small Esther: Strongs #635 Ecter star; connected to #5641 cathar to hide, conceal (+ prefix = I will) I will hide and conceal! Gematria = 661, same as the phrase lo yeshema al pek it shall not be heard on thy mouth Once again at Purim, the Hebrew language reveals to us the loss of the garment! When she was numbered/counted, the Bride did not present herself as the shekel and her garment of light/linen was diminished (the fire burning within, the light made small) and therefore it was proclaimed It shall not be heard on thy mouth! The light of Yahweh/Word/Language was hidden and concealed! Now as we celebrate Purim again, we have an opportunity to present ourselves at the Tabernacle to be counted, to receive the light again, but if we choose to stay bound to the serpent, our fruit will be made evident! If this reveals to us the loss of the light/garment, where does Purim teach us of its restoration? Esther 4:14 For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, [then] shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father's house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for [such] a time as this? Enlargement: Strongs #7305 revach space; from #7304 ravach to be wide, spacious, to breathe; cognate of #7307 ruwach wind, breath, mind, spirit 5

Deliverance: Strongs #2020 hatstsalah deliverance, escape; play on words with tsela (#6763) rib (what Eve was made from) Gematria = 130, same as cullam ladder Yahweh breathed into Adam His seed/Word/language/light, the Ruach hovered over the waters for the same purpose, and now again He promises that He will breathe that same light into the rib that was taken out of the Adam/Messiah the Bride! The way this is happening once again goes back to when Jacob saw the ladder the DNA of Yahweh, His language/seed/Word being placed within him! Purim is a divine appointment where we have the choice to once again see the ladder and be breathed upon or stay in strife and in our sin!
