I hope youve been enjoying the surprisingly beautiful weather this week! Were going to be running a mini problem-solving hack at our upcoming event, EcomSummit, on Wednesday, 21st March. After the scheduled presentations, we will pose two questions which attendees will be asked to brainstorm and present an answer to. One question will be from a London-based TechMeetups member and the other from an NYSA member. The purpose of this exercise is to crowdsource the response to two pertinent questions for those in the E-commerce sphere and to share / compare our responses with members in London and vise-versa. we are looking for a web developer with (ideally) both programming and design skills (we dont exclude people who are specialized more on the back-end or on the frontend). He/she should realize our prototype/first version of our website (HTML/CSS code + backend code which work on dummy data). With the help of this person, whose responsibility will grow over time, we want to build our product, which will have an international target. What we have so far is the business plan, several potential clients interviews, the interface sketches (frameworks and user stories) SYSTEMS DEVELOPER @ cloudspeed (Full-Time)(England) Examines existing software and determines requirements for new/modified systems through consultation with clients and staff. Responsible for platform development and improvement; server management; scaling issues and content driven web services. Investigates, plans, designs and develops software solutions within stated constraints. Writes operational documentation and provides subsequent support and training for users.
