My Father in Heaven, how sweet it is to know that You are my Father and that I am Your child! Especially when the skies of my soul are cloudy and my cross weighs more heavily, I feel the need to repeat to You: Father, I believe in Your love for me! Yes, I believe that You are a Father to me at every moment of my life, and that I am Your child! I believe that You love me with an infinite love! I believe that You are watching over me night and day and that not a hair falls from my head without Your permission! I believe that, in Your infinite Wisdom, You know better than I what is good for me. I believe that, in Your infinite power, You can bring good even out of evil. I believe that, in Your infinite goodness, You make everything to the advantage of those who love You; even under the hands of those who strike me I kiss Your hand which heals! I believe, but increase in me faith, hope and love! Teach me always to see Your love as my guide in every event of my life. Teach me to surrender myself to You like a baby in its mothers arms. Father, You know everything, You see everything, you know me better than I know myself; You can do everything, and You love me! My Father, since it is Your wish that we should always turn to You, I come with confidence to ask You, together with Jesus and Mary... (here request the favour that you desire). For this intention, and uniting myself to their Most Sacred Hearts, I offer You all my prayers, my sacrifices and mortifications, all my Page 4 of 44
actions, and greater faithfulness to my duties. (If this prayer it to be recited as a novena, add: I promise to be more generous, especially during these nine days, in a given circumstance, to such and such a person....). Give me the light, the grace and the power of the Holy Spirit! Strengthen me in this Spirit, that I may never lose Him, never sadden Him and never allow Him to become weaker in me. My Father, I ask this in the name of Jesus, Your Son! And You, Jesus, open Your Heart and place in it my own, and, together with Marys, offer it to our divine Father! Obtain for me the grace that I need! Divine Father, call all men to Yourself. Let all the world proclaim Your fatherly goodness and Your divine mercy! Be a tender Father to me and protect me wherever I am, like the apple of Your eye. Make me always a worthy son/daughter; have mercy on me! Divine Father, sweet hope of our souls, may You be known, honoured and loved by all men! Divine Father, infinite goodness poured out on all peoples, may You be known, honoured and loved by all men! Divine Father, beneficent dew of humanity, may You be known, honoured and loved by all men!

First Reflection:
Luke 3: 21-22
Now it happened that when all the people had been baptised and while Jesus after his own baptism was at prayer, heaven opened and the Holy Spirit descended on him in a physical form, like a dove. And a voice came from heaven, 'You are my Son; today have I fathered you.' Let us honour the Holy Spirit and adore Him who is Love Substantial, proceeding from the Father and the Son, and uniting Them in an infinite and eternal charity. Second Reflection: Luke 1: 41-45
Now it happened that as soon as Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leapt in her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. She gave a loud cry and said, 'Of all women you are the most blessed, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. Why should I be honoured with a visit from the mother of my Lord? Look, the moment your greeting reached my ears, the child in my womb leapt for joy. Yes, blessed is she who believed that the promise made her by the Lord would be fulfilled. Let us honour the operation of the Holy Spirit and adore Him in the Immaculate Conception of Mary, sanctifying her, from the first moment with the plentitude of grace. Third Reflection: Luke 1: 34-35
Mary said to the angel, 'But how can this come about, since I have no knowledge of man?' The angel answered, 'The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will cover you with its shadow. And so the child will be holy and will be called Son of God. Let us honour the operation of the Holy Spirit and adore Him as His power came upon the Virgin Mary in the Incarnation of the Word, the Son of God by His Divine nature, and the Son of the Virgin by the flesh. Page 12 of 44
Fourth Reflection:
Acts 2:1-4
When Pentecost day came round, they had all met together, when suddenly there came from heaven a sound as of a violent wind which filled the entire house in which they were sitting; and there appeared to them tongues as of fire; these separated and came to rest on the head of each of them. They were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak different languages as the Spirit gave them power to express themselves. Let us honour the operation of the Holy Spirit and adore Him giving birth to the Church on the glorious day of Pentecost in the Cenacle. Fifth Reflection: John 14:15-17
If you love me you will keep my commandments. I shall ask the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete to be with you forever, the Spirit of truth whom the world can never accept since it neither sees nor knows him; but you know him, because he is with you, he is in you. Let us honour the operation of the Holy Spirit and adore Him dwelling in the Church and assisting her faithfully according to the Divine promise, even to the end of the world. Sixth Reflection: John 20: 19-23
In the evening of that same day, the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, 'Peace be with you,' and, after saying this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy at seeing the Lord, and he said to them again, 'Peace be with you. 'As the Father sent me, so am I sending you.' After saying this he breathed on them and said: Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive anyone's sins, they are forgiven; if you retain anyone's sins, they are retained. Page 13 of 44
Let us honour the wonderful operation of the Holy Spirit creating within the Church that other Christ, the Priest, and conferring the plentitude of the priesthood on the bishops. Seventh Reflection: 1 Corinthians 12: 7-10
The particular manifestation of the Spirit granted to each one is to be used for the general good. To one is given from the Spirit the gift of utterance expressing wisdom; to another the gift of utterance expressing knowledge, in accordance with the same Spirit; to another, faith, from the same Spirit; and to another, the gifts of healing, through this one Spirit; to another, the working of miracles; to another, prophecy; to another, the power of distinguishing spirits; to one, the gift of different tongues and to another, the interpretation of tongues. But at work in all these is one and the same Spirit, distributing them at will to each individual. Let us honour the operation of the Holy Spirit and adore Him in the heroic virtue of the saints in the Church, that hidden and marvellous work of the Adorable Sanctifier.

The presiding minister may be a priest, deacon, or layperson. This minister prays the opening and closing prayers, leads the acclamation, announces the stations, and says the prayer that concludes each station. One or more readers may read the Scriptural reflections. A period of silence should be observed between the Scripture reading and the prayer. A cross bearer accompanied by two candle bearers may stand in front of each station as it is announced. As the cross- and candle bearers move between the stations, all may sing a verse of the Stabat Mater (At the Cross Her Station Keeping - traditional) or an appropriate antiphon, such as Parce Domine (traditional, various settings) or Crucem Tuam (Berthier, GIA).
Opening Prayer: Minister: God of power and mercy, in love your sent your Son that we might be cleansed of sin and live with you forever. Bless us as we gather to reflect on his suffering and death that we may learn from his example the way we should go. We ask this through that same Christ, our Lord. All: Amen.

Common Prayers
Apostles' Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of Heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, Our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into Hell. The third day He arose again from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, sitteth at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen Our Father Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. Hail Mary Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Page 43 of 44
Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Glory Be Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Fatima's Prayer O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, lead all souls to heaven, especially those who are in most need of Thy mercy. Hail Holy Queen Hail, holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail, our life, our sweetness and our hope. To you do we cry, poor banished children of Eve: to you do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this valley of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, your eyes of mercy toward us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus, O merciful, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary! Amen
