The Econ Club would like to share with you a list of Economic summer seminars that you could attend over this summer. These events are a great opportunity for you to learn about economics outside of the classroom, network with students and speakers and most importantly have fun. All of these summer seminars are FREE to attend. You only have to pay the cost of travel, the good news is that in some cases, the cost of travel is also cover. 1. IHS Summer Seminars on Liberty Free Summer Seminar Description: What's in store? Opportunities to connect with students from around the world with a passion for liberty. Independent Institute The Challenge of Liberty Summer Seminars Description: Our five-day series of lectures, readings, films, multimedia presentations, and small group discussion teaches students what economics is, how it affects their lives, and how understanding it can help them achieve better lives for themselves, their communities, and the world at large. Mises Institute Mises University Description: The Mises University is the worlds leading instructional program in the Austrian School of economics. Since 1986, it has been the essential training ground for economists who are looking beyond the mainstream. Mises University is open to full-time students, faculty, and current members of the Mises Institute. Interested full-time students can apply to receive a scholarship covering full tuition, housing, and meals (catered and served at the Mises Institute).
