1. The Selection Tool

The Selection (arrow) tool (A) is used most commonly to select and move items or multiple items on the Stage. It is also used to reshape lines and shapes, in a way that is familiar to users who have worked in other vector graphics applications. The Selection tool's neighbor, which is differentiated with a white, rather than a black, arrowhead, is the Subselect tool. The Subselect tool is most useful for moving and editing anchor points created with the Pen tool and adjusting tangents on Bezier curves

Objects show the same selection highlight as grouped shapes, but are actually a hybrid Drawing graphic style, which shares selected characteristics with raw shapes, grouped shapes, and Graphic symbols. Like raw shapes, you can modify Drawing Objects directly on the Stage with the Selection tool and any of the tools related to fills and strokes.

2.The Line Tool

Step 1: Line Draw:
Flash allows you to Draw line for drawing various Shapes.

Step 2: Line Color

Flash allows you to change the color of the lines in your movie presentation. Clicking this modifier will make a flyout palette appear, with a wide range of preset colors. If none of those tickles your fancy, there's a button near the top of the palette which will allow you to create custom colors.

Step 3: Line Thickness

You can also play with the width of the lines you draw. Flash has several preset line thickness settings, but if none of those look right you can always click on "custom" in the dropdown menu and type in the number you want in the dialog box.

Step 4: Line Style

The default setting for lines in Flash is a solid line. But you also have the option of

choosing dashed, dotted or a combination of dashes and dots for your line style. Just select the style that appeals from the dropdown menu.

3.The Subselection Tool

The Subselection (arrow) tool (A) is the companion for the Pen and is found in the Tools panel to the right of the Selection tool. The Subselection tool has two purposes: 1.To either move or edit individual anchor points and tangents on lines and outlines. 2.To move individual objects.

When you are moving the Subselection tool over a line or point, the hollow arrow cursor displays one of two states:

When over a line, it displays a small, filled square next to it, indicating that the whole selected shape or line can be moved. When over a point, it displays a small, hollow square, indicating that the point will be moved to change the shape of the line.

4.The Eraser Tool

The eraser tool has five modes that interact with fills and strokes in a variety of ways. This chapter describes using the eraser in Erase Normal mode; the other modes will become more important when you handle complex graphics with multiple elements.

To erase all strokes and fills (Erase Normal):

1. In the Toolbar, select the eraser tool, or press E ( Figure 3.71 ).

From the Eraser Mode pop-up menu, choose Erase Normal. A check appears by that mode in the menu, and the Erase Normal icon appears in the Toolbar. 3. From the Eraser Shape pop-up menu, choose a size and shape for the eraser. The icon for the selected eraser shape appears in the Toolbar. 4. Move the pointer over the Stage. The pointer has the size and shape you selected. 5. Click and drag, or scrub back and forth as you would with an ordinary eraser ( Figure 3.72 ).

5.Oval Tool

The Oval and Rectangle tools in Adobe Flash Professional enable you to create basic geometric shapes and apply strokes and fills; you can also specify rounded corners. In addition to the Merge and Object drawing modes, the Oval and Rectangle tools provide the Primitive Object drawing mode To access the Oval tool, select it from the Tools panel. Then you can do the following:

To draw a perfectly symmetrical circle, hold down the Shift key when dragging the Oval tool on the Stage. To draw the oval shape from the center (rather than from the left corner), hold down the Alt key (Windows) or the Option key (Mac OS). After drawing the oval, you can use the Free Transform tool or the Subselection tool to modify the oval's path. To select and reposition the oval without changing its path, use the Selection tool.

6.The Paint Bucket Tool

Step 1: Click on the Paint Bucket

Click on the paint bucket in the tool box to get an idea of what modifiers are available to you

here. The paint bucket is for filling large areas of the stage, or whole sections of your graphics with color with just a single click of the mouse. Step 2: Fill Color

As with many of the other tools in Flash, the paint bucket tool has a color modifier. Click on this button to bring up a flyout palette with a range of color choices.

INTRODUCTION
Rules Of The Road Regulations was brought into effect from July 1, 1989. It serves as a basic guide for the Indian driver, showcasing the rules which he has to follow, while on the roads. It deals with basic facts such as overtaking, traffic signals, towing, speed limits, the necessary documents to be carried while driving and other such neglected, but imperative points nonetheless.

These regulations may be called the Rules Of The Roads Regulations, 1989. They shall come into force from July 1, 1989

Keep Left The driver of a motor vehicle shall drive the vehicle as close to the left side of the road as may be expedient and shall allow all traffic which is proceeding in the opposite direction to pass on his left hand side.

Turning to Left And Right The driver of a motor vehicle shall: 1. When turning to the left, drive as close as maybe to theleft hand side of the road from which he is making the turn and of the road which he is entering. 2. When turning to the right draw as near as near as may be to the centre of the road which the driver is entering.

Passing To The Right Except as provided in regulation 5, the driver of a motor vehicle shall pass to the right of all traffic proceeding in the same direction as himself.

Passing To The Left The driver of a motor vehicle may pass to the left of a vehicle, the driver of which having indicated an intention to turn to the right has drawn to the centre of the road and may pass on either side, a tram car or other vehicle running on fixed rails whether travelling in the same direction as himself or otherwise provided that in no case shall he pass a tram car at a time or in a manner likely to cause danger or inconvenience to other users of the road including persons leaving or about to enter tram cars.

Overtaking Prohibited In Certain Cases The driver of a motor vehicle shall not pass a vehicle travelling in the same direction as himself: 1. If his passing is likely to pass inconvenience or danger to other traffic proceding in any direction

TRAFFIC RULES & REGULATIONS FOR TWO-WHEELER RIDERS We can avoid accidents by following guidelines: 1. While driving always carry your original driving license and important documents such as your vehicle registration certificate, insurance certificate, road tax token. 2. MUST NOT carry more than one pillion rider and he/she MUST sit astride the machine on a proper seat and should keep both feet on the footrests. 3. Make yourself as visible as possible from the sides as well as the front and rear. You could wear a white or brightly coloured helmet. 4. You should be aware of what is behind and on the sides before maneuvering. Look behind you; use mirrors if they are fitted.

5. Wear bright coloured clothing to improve your chances of being seen in the dark. 6. Don't mix drinking with driving. 7. Follow the traffic signals, lights and signs, and always stop before the STOP LINE at traffic intersections when yon see a red traffic light or the Policeman signals you to stop. 8. Avoid using the cell phone when driving. If urgent move to left, stop and then take the call. 9. Do not ride at high speeds. You may lose control and your life in the bargain. 10. MUST wear a protective helmet. Helmets MUST comply with the Regulations and they MUST be fastened securely.
