SOCIAL CONSEQUENCES OF THEORY DEVELOPMENT The concept of theory has become a wide field of study during the last decades. Since there exits different kinds of theories according to some criteria, principles, and techniques on a specific subject, theories development generate a list of positive or negative changes to the society, especially when they are seen as distinct from actual practice as it is in language teaching. In this way, the influence of any theoretical teaching resource begins to break down the traditional system of education. What means that teachers have to look for different methods of schooling because students not only need to receive information as machines, but also they need to take advantage of what they learn to fit in well at any campus or any social aspect. In addition, teachers should use good theories to make language teaching more intellectual and meaningful not only to language learners, but also for public, politicians and administrators in order to get more productive and satisfying thinking. Exhaustive research in relation to that has proved that the apprenticeship of language involves a variety of aspects that can be explained through many perspectives. For example, theories of language acquisition refer to the neurological part as one of the most relevant in the learning process because it shows how the development of the brain and the acquisition of a language are linked. However, it is necessary for teachers to know how to use that kind of theory to enhance their learners capacities of acquire and use correctly the information given. And if it is true, a theory becomes useful and effective only when at practice it works. For that special reason, theory development should emphasize not only on linguistics that involves the systematic study of language, but also on other fields more relate to the humans aspects such as psychology, sociology and the humanities to recognize how and why people learn through out a variety of material and in diverse circumstances

Besides, theory development should make the nature of language learning process clear and comprehensive, giving to students a better understanding of tasks involve in language learning. Advocates hold that new teaching method will get people more interested, learning in a more efficient and easy way. For example, many people have to understand that language has not been measured just when someone has a high level of fluency. But contrary, fluency is just a characteristic of well oral performance, it is a property of language, but it does not make up the entire language. Also, schools have to describe correctly the objectives of language, and not by arousing exaggerated expectations To sum up, it is for sure that a good language teaching theory should be useful and applicable; coherence and consistence; comprehensive and explicit; explanatory power and verifiable; clarity and simplicity, in order to make the apprenticeship more enriching and challenging in every single person.
