Stripwork Jumper
The stripwork dress and pants are made as described in Volume 1 (pages 4-12 and pages 14-17) with the following modifications: Cut the bodice 2 and pants 6 from velveteen. Optional - add holiday appliques to bodice front and/or pant legs. Note - when working with velveteen, it is advisable to treat the raw edges with fray check. For the shorter top-length jumper, use the included pattern pieces 4s and 5s in place of pattern pieces 4 and 5. Omit the ruffle attachment strip and second ruffle. Make a single ruffle as described, and attach it to the bottom of the pieced strip.
