Multimedia lab Experiment No:

Design a visiting card containing at least one graphic and text information.
Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS. Step2:Goto to menu bar Select File->new ,give a name for your layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK button. Step3:Goto tool box select Rectangle tool(U) .Then Draw rectangle shape on layer.(If you want to change the style of the rectangle goto menu bar select Windows-> styles, the style menu will open .Now you can select the style for your rectangle) Step4:Goto tool box select Text tools .Then Drag & Drop on your rectangle shape., then type the Text. Step5:To add picture to your visiting card open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step6:Goto tool bar select Move tool ,then Select picture Drag and drop on layer.(marked part only) Step7:Press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture & place in a proper position. Step8:Finally your visiting card is Ready. . *************OUTPUT**********

Take a photographic image. Give a title for image .Put the border. Write your names & Institution name, Place. Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2: Goto to menu bar Select File->new, give a name for your layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK button. Step3: :To add picture to your layer open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step4:Tool box select Text tools .Then Drag & Drop on your layer, then type the Text. Step5: Goto tool bar select Move tool(V), then Select picture Drag and drop on layer (marked part only) Step6:Press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture. Step7:Goto menu bar select Edit ->stroke option .The Stroke menu will display as shown below. Then set the width of the border & location say ok..

Prepare a cover page for your book in your subject area. Plain your own design. Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2: : Goto to menu bar Select File->new, give a name for your layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK button Step3: Goto tool box select Rectangle tool(U) .Then Draw rectangle shape on layer.(set the text area for your cover page). Step4:Goto menu bar select Windows menu in that select Style option .the style menu will display on screen. Select any style for your cover page. Step5: Goto tool box select Text tools .Then Drag on main layer type Text. Step6:If you want insert any Shapes goto Tool box select select custom shape tool ,select the shapes as your wish.& drag and drop in your text area. OR To add picture to your cover page open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) The output for your cover page shown as below.

Your are given a picture of a flower and associated background. Extract the flower only from that and organize it on a backgroung.Select your own background for organization. Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2: : Goto to menu bar Select File->new, give a name for your layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK button Step3 To add picture to your layer open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step4: Goto tool bar select Move tool (V), then Select picture Drag and drop on layer (marked part only) Step5:Press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture Step6:Right click on main page select background option the goto tool bar select Gradient tool(G).Select background Drag and Drop on your main page.Finally user background is set to your iamge.

Your are given a picture. Adjust the brightness & contrast of the picture so that it gives an elegant look. Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2:Goto to menu bar Select new layer give a name for your layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK Step3: To add picture to your layer open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step4:Goto tool bar select Move tool .Then Select picture Drag and drop on layer. Step5:Press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture Step6:Goto menu bar select image menuAdjustment Brightness and Contrast option. Step7:The Brightness and Contrast menu will display .Now set brightness & contrast For your image.

Your are given a picture .Position the picture preferably on a plain background of a color of choice-Position includes Rotation & Scaling. Then press OK Step3: To add picture to your layer open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step4: Goto tool bar select Move tool .Then Select picture Drag and drop on layer. press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture.Now select any picture Step5:Goto menu bar select Edit menu Transform option Scale and Rotation option .Select Rotation 90 Clockwise(CW).Your can see your image is rotated.

Remove the arrows and text from the given photographic image. Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2:Goto to menu bar Select File menu ,open new layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK Step3: To add picture to your layer open an image.(File menu->Open ->select the picture. goto tool box select Lasso Tool, then mark the picture as your wish.) Step 4:Goto tool bar select Move tool .Then Select picture Drag and drop on main window. press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture. Step5:Goto tool bar select Eyedropper(I) tool ,click on layer and select the color to fill the image after removing of the Text. Then press OK Step3:Goto tool bar select Text tool Drag and drop on main window, then type some text. Step4:Goto menu bar select Layer menu Layer style then select Bevel and Emboss option . Step5:The Bevel and Emboss menu will display ,set Style as Emboss. and set Depth,Size and Soften as your wish.

Step4:Goto tool bar select Lasso tool then set feather is 20px(As your wish),But it must be common for 3 images. Step4:Goto tool bar select Move tool .Then Select picture Drag and drop on layer. press Ctrl+T to reposition the picture.Now select any picture Step5:If you want to set background for your main window you can set . Multimedia lab Experiment No: A PICTURE OF TWO PARROTS IS GIVEN TO YOU. MAKE ANYONE OF THE PARROTS IN BLACK & WHITE. Using Photoshop Step1:Open Photoshop CS Step2:Goto to menu bar Select File menu ,open new layer & Set preset is Default Photoshop size. Then press OK. Step3:Open two parrots images .Then select Drag & Drop on main window. Step4:Select any one parrots image which you want to convert into Black & White Step5:Press Ctrl+U ,the Hue /Saturation menu will display(image menuAdjustment Hue /Saturation ) . Step6:Now adjust the Hue and saturation values for ve .And also Adjust the Brightness. & see preview the parrots image will convert into Black & White.
