part of our marketing efforts, however the brands true distinction in the marketplace comes from its Italian design and fashion forward style, says Phil Schwetz, President of Sector USA, Sector brings fashion to sport. This top-performance brand continues to bring its functions, features and complications to the fore, but as Schwetz points out, in todays world, it also has to pass what he calls the how factor: How does it look, feel , perform on the wrist?. Answering that question, Sector deftly fuses function and fashion offering attention to every tiny detail in the design of the timepieces, from dials, to bezels, case attachments and even superb Italian leather straps.

There is a niche within the watch industry that Sector fills perfectly individuals in search of a performance timepiece who dont want to compromise on fashion, says Chris Del Gatto, CEO of CIRCA. Underscoring its merge of fashion and performance, the Milan-based brand recently made its second appearance at New Yorks MercedesBenz Fashion Week, showcasing its mens and womens collections in the CIRCA Accessories Salon. The brand has also tapped supermodel and marathon runner Veronica Webb as Fashion Director. Reaffirming its sports watch positioning, Sector USA sought the ideal face to represent the brand anew and recently signed on NBA star Kris Humphries as spokesperson.

Humphries is the perfect person to represent the brand as a professional athlete with a natural fashion sense, says Schwetz. He is a trendsetter on and off the court. A portion of sales of the brands incredible Shark Master Collection will benefit the Kris Humphries Foundation, an organization dedicated to fighting childhood obesity through creating active communities.

The Sector watch lineup is as impressive as its involvements and spokespeople. Sector watches retail from approximately $200 to $2,000, with the bulk of the business in the $300 to $600 realm. Among the collections making their debut this year is the distinctive 400 Series, which incorporates key design elements such as a dramatic multi-tiered dial with date indication, chronograph subdials and luminescent hands, markers and colorcontrasting Arabic numerals, as well as the integration of stainless steel and rubber in a modern doublefinish bracelet.

Series 400s unique design is the fusion of stainless steel and rubber in an ultra-modern double-nish bracelet and case; and a dramatic, multi-tiered dial.

Easily the leader in the lines in terms of demonstrating the DNA of the performance watches is the Shark Master Collection, which includes as Shark Master 1000, the Tide and a 200 Meter version. The Shark Master 1000 is, as its name implies, water resistant to 1000 meters. With rubber and blue accents, the Swiss-Made automatic watch sports a helium release valve, a curved sapphire crystal and a 46mm stainless steel case with superb case-to-bracelet design. This watch retails for $1,995. The Shark Master Tide synchronizes to the lunar cycle and offers a tide function and moonphase indicator. This 46mm Swiss Made, steel-cased beauty sorts a blue dial, bezel and strap. It retails for $995. The Shark Master 200 meter, ranging from $395 to $595, is an attainable series with striking details.

Other important collections include the Black Eagle (that reinstates the brands iconic Eagle logo),the Explorer, the Overland and Sectors bold Oversize series, that includes the alluring Oversize Dual Time Zone watch at $325. This48mm stainless steel timepiece houses two quartz movements and features an inner ring with world cities. It joins the rest of the Oversize Collection of bold and colorful chronographs and three-hands offered in steel or in black IP and retailing for $250-$395. Whereas in the past Sector was predominantly geared for men, there are now several new ladies

collections, as well, including a red Yacht Master and a full collection of multi-function and three hand styles in steel, or in steel and ceramic, often with crystal bezels.

Sector is geared for the individual with not only an active lifestyle, but who also wants and appreciates a certain look, says Schwetz. CIRCA, and the Circa Brands division, is invested in the long term with this reintroduction to the US market. The updated styling and true performance aspect of Sector is the perfect mix for retailers to offer customers a true sport watch with a cutting-edge look.
