What is NAC-Tech?
NASSCOM Assessment of Competence Technology (NAC-Tech) is a national level standard employability assessment for final year engineering students, as identified by the IT industry. NAC-Tech is a single test that helps students and institutes to reach out to multiple companies. Leading IT companies are endorsing this test as the first step of this recruitment process. The objective of NAC-Tech is to assist educational institutions understand the potential of its students and ascertain the caliber of the students with respect to the required level of knowledge and skills for employment with this industry. What areas are assessed under NACTech?
The student can appear for either Part A of the test OR Part A + Part B.

NAC-Tech acts as first-level filter for companies and helps them look only at the potential candidates, which may be the best fit for their requirements. NAC-Tech helps companies broaden their reach, even at tier 2 & tier 3 regions.

When will NAC-Tech be conducted?


NAC-Tech is ready to be launched as a real-time, online, objective evaluation, of individual skills and competencies, irrespective of geographic locations, by end of August 2011.

Which are the companies that support NAC-Tech?


NAC-Tech has been facilitated by NASSCOM, through support from the NAC-Tech Council that comprises of TCS Infosys Wipro Cognizant HCL Accenture It is aimed to use this assessment as the first entry level hiring tool for the industry.

For the Industry Industry gets a pool of pre-assessed candidates mapped against competencies required for entry level professionals. It helps them reach out to a wider geography and access talent from level 2 and 3 cities and institutions.
