Introduction: Attention Getter: Few days ago some of my friends and I was went to see an English film at International Film fair. While I was watching movie-I was thinking myself about ours and the film. I came to a view that the film was Technically, Thematically, Story based, and Actor& Actress based. In a nutshell all sides it was highly developed. Topic: Yes audience I am talking about the film of the Hollywood. Holly wood is the biggest and famous film cities in the world. It is in California, East cost of USA. Celebrity Statement: All the information about Hollywood I have collected from internet and helps of my friend and teachers. Preview Statement: Today, at first I will talk about the Market, then Business, next the Oscar awards given by Hollywood and lastly the Investment at film. The world wide market for the sale of holly wood picture is divided into territories and media. Territories are divided into two major regions known as foreign territories and domestic territories. The broad foreign territories are Europe, Australia, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe and others. USA and Canada are usually grouped together and referred to as the domestic territory from the point of view of the United States. Foreign Market: Export sales to foreign market, from independent producers hit an all time high of $ 1.9 billion (up to 22% from 2004) the European foreign market accounts far 57% of global revenues (all media) generated by English language, independently produced films. Television sales account 45% of all foreign revenues and ware up 12% over the last year, for third consecutive year. Business of Hollywood film: Many pictures routinely generate $35 million with even 14 weeks of theatrical release. For example, Independence Day (1996) grossed over $280million in 10 weeks.

Oscar Award: The Academy Awards, affectionately known as the Oscars, are the oldest, best known, most influential, most prestigious, and famous of film awards. The awards (and gold-plated statuettes) have been presented annually (the first awards ceremony was held in May of 1929) by a non-profit professional organization - the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), based in Beverly Hills, California, and founded in 1927. Price water house (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) has managed the Academy Awards balloting process since 1935 - all but the first six years of the Oscars. Ever since 1941, when their now-famous confidential envelope system was introduced, marking the first year of complete secrecy, "the Envelope Please" has become a familiar phrase that evokes the thought of the Academy Awards ceremony. Some Oscars movie are Gladiator, Lord of the Rings, The Aviator, Titanic and so many films. Here has some Legendary Actor and Actress like: Tom Cruise, Bradpitt, Russelcrowe, Will Smith, Jenifar Lophez, Angelina Jolie and so others. Investment at Hollywood: Three (3) or more studios in the Hollywood invest highly; these are Universal, Warner Bros, Tri-Star, Colombia, and 20th fox etc. Conclusion: At last I want to say that if our film industry follows the Hollywood movie they can produce us a thematic and story based film and we will get some famous actor and actress.
