GENERAL INTRODUCTION

FAB India is an ISO 9001 2000 company based in Nasik Ambad, around 150 Km from India's financial capital Mumbai. $ We have a total fabrication area of over 30,000 sq feet, complete with the latest fabrication machinery and equipment. $ At FAB India, a dedicated team of engineers and designers offers complete turnkey solutions to customers right from design, prototyping, production, to erection and commissioning. $ We have a trained workforce of over 200 employees and the company is growing rapidly and expanding its capacity every year. $ At Present our capacity allows for execution of over 500 tons monthly of fabrication and galvanization. The company is in the process of increasing its capacity to 1000 tons per month by 2010.

Infrastructure Projects
The company has done structural fabrication for Reliance Jamnagar project. Work involved supplying structural fabricated parts as per design and drawings provided. Various items relating to Petroleum Refinery like shed trusses, railings, gratings, were supplied. Jobs were manufactured at our plant and also galvanized and sent to site for fitment.

The company has done various warehouse projects for Reliance Retail for their commodities storing and sorting centers. Warehouses were around 50,000 sq feet in sizes.

Telecom Projects
The company has been supplier of structural parts mainly to Reliance Communications Ltd, Reliance Infratel Ltd and TT Wireless Services ltd a Tata Teleservices company. The job involved complete turnkey installation of telecom sites. The job involves complete fabrication of towers and steel structure as per customers drawing. Testing and installation at various locations all over India. Also civil foundation work is included in our work scope. Various items supplied are towers, pole mounts, cable trays, earthing equipment, foundation parts and various clamps. Tower erection, civil foundation, and electrical work includes in the scope of work.

Outdoor Media Projects

The company has currently executed the Mumbai BEST Bus Shelter Project. Stainless Steel Bus shelters were fabricated at our plant and installed at various locations in Mumbai. We have supplied over 250 bus shelters for Prachar Communications under the above project till date.

Transportation Trailers
The company also specializes in manufacturing specialized trailers for the transportation industry. Trailers specifically designed for the export market are manufactured. We have supplied trailers for export through Sanghi Overseas Ltd. Copper cable and Optical fiber laying cable trailers were designed and supplied by us. Special high tipper trailers were developed for M/s Klass, Germany as per their exacting standards and supplied to their India counter part Escorts ltd.

FAB India has got the ISO 9001 2000 certification from TUV Germany ISO 9001 2000 certified company.

Company was certified two and half years back.

Implementation of ISO 9001 2000 has helped the company grow and at the same time has been able to achieve maximum customer satisfaction. Rejections have been reduced to a great extent and manufacturing cycle time has been minimized.

Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP )

We have implemented customized ERP Package Alpha, for managing the complete manufacturing process. Right from bill of material to procurement till dispatch, all the functions are centrally monitored by the system. ERP has resulted in lower stock holding, faster customer order processing and shorter manufacturing lead time.

TRANSPORTATION TRAILER PRODUCTS

Two wheeled hydraulic tipping trailers from capacities varying from 3 - 12 tons. Special export model available for complete knock down system. Upto 40 trailers can be loaded in a 40' High Cube.

Four wheeled hydraulic and non hydraulic models available ranging from 4 tons to 20 tons. Specialised trailers available for gas cylinder transportation trailer, vacuum tank fitted trailer, water tank fitted trailer & specialised cane transportation trailer.

Cable carrying trolleys. Suitable for carrying copper cable and fibre optical cable. Trolley designed for easy loading of the cable drum and transportation to site. Trolley complete with parking brake mechanism.

High tipper trailer specially designed for mechanical cane harvester. Models available in 4 tons to 9 tons capacity. Loading height for off field vehicles at 4 mtrs. Heavy duty hydraulic rams and tractor kit available with the trailer.
