Accredited Higher Education Programs: Bridging subjects in Audit, Company Law and Tax Law
Graduate conversion courses are provided to enable graduates and professionals who do not have adequate coverage of the required subjects to satisfy the educational requirements for entry to the Chartered Accountants Program of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (The Institute). Applicants with a non-Australian degree or qualification or Australian graduates with a non-accounting degree who are interested in undertaking the Chartered Accountants Program must have their qualifications assessed and complete further study through an Australian approved higher education provider. As a minimum, overseas graduates will need to do Australian Taxation and Australian Corporations Law. Any other subjects required will be determined and advised as part of the assessment. A number of accredited graduate conversion courses are available through Australian higher education providers to applicants with overseas qualifications. These courses vary in mode of delivery and fees payable. Please contact the providers directly to enquire about the cost and availability of these courses. The following list of accredited bridging subjects indicates Auditing, Australian Corporations Law and Australian Taxation Law subjects available at each institution.
