The REDCAT infrared receiver/amplifier and stand is the equipment that your voice will be amplified from. The power supply charges the REDCAT system. The REDMIKE classroom microphone will be used by you and worn around your neck. The handheld mic and charging cable is great for student use. The charging cradle and power supply is used with both types of microphones. The best placement for the REDCAT will be on a tabletop, at least three feet from the ground, along the back wall or side walls of the classroom. It is important that the REDCAT isnt too close to you when you are teaching, as it may result in feedback. The power source also needs to be within 7 feet of an electrical outlet.
