Notice Inviting Tenders Package WWT-2

Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation Limited,(MSRDC) invites sealed bids/ Tenders which shall include Technical Bid and Financial Bid for design build contract on lump sum basis for construction of terminal facilities for passenger water transport along west coast of Mumbai at Bandra and Versova (Package WWT-2). Estimated Cost of Work: INR 239.39 Cr. The detailed technical and Financial Eligibility shall be as follows; I. 1. Eligibility Criteria: In case of Individual Company, the bidder shall have a Minimum Annual Turnover during last three (3) years, ending 31st March of the previous financial year, should be INR 320 crores for each of the last three years. In case of Joint Venture, the Lead Partner of the consortium shall have a Minimum Annual Turnover of INR 192 crores for each of the last three years and other Partner should have a Minimum Annual Turnover of INR 85 crores for each of the last three years. However, the aggregate of the turnovers of the consortium partners shall not be less than INR 320 crores for each of the last three years

In case of Individual Company, the bidder shall have a Minimum networth( to be certified by the Charted accountant) of INR 60 crores In case of Joint Venture, the Lead Partner of the consortium shall have a Minimum networth of INR 36 crores other Partner should have a Minimum networth of INR 16 crores. However, the aggregate of the networths of the consortium partners shall not be less than INR 60crores. III. The Bidder should have experience of having completed one similar work during last seven (7) years ending last day of month previous to the one in which the applications are invited, costing not less than the amount equal to INR 192 crores. In case of Joint venture company, The Lead partner should have experience of having completed one similar work during last seven (7) years ending last day of month previous to the one in which the applications are invited, costing not less than the amount equal to INR 192 crores and the other partner should have completed one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to INR 95 crores. (Note: Definition of similar work is Construction of Passenger Berths/ Port Berths/ Port Jetties/ Sea Bridges/ Wharfs. All these should have Marine Piling) (Note: - A weightage of 10% compounded annually shall be given for equating the value of works in the previous years to the current year)

Note: 1. A complete set of Tender Documents may be obtained by interested Tenderers on submission of a written application to the above office, and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of INR.50,000.00/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand only) in the form of Demand Draft from any Nationalized bank / State Bank of India / any Private Bank having paid up equity capital more than INR 350 Crores in favor of MSRDC Ltd payable at Mumbai during Working Hours from 15-03-2012 and up to 19-04-2012 (both days inclusive). Alternatively, bidders can download from the website www.msrdc.org on payment through net banking / Credit card. 2. The Tenders must be accompanied by a Tender Security for INR. 240,00,000 /(Two Hundred and sixty three lakhs only) in the form of Bank Guarantee(in the format attached herewith) or Demand Draft / Pay Order drawn on any Nationalized / State Bank of India / any Private Bank having paid up equity capital more than INR 350 Crores in favor of MSRDC Ltd., payable at Mumbai. 3. Sealed Tender shall be submitted in person at MSRDC Office at the office address mentioned below on or before 26-04 -2012 up to 15:00 Hrs. In the event of this day being declared a holiday, the Tender shall be submitted on the following working day. Tender shall be submitted in person only. Tenders, which are submitted after the time and date mentioned above, will not be accepted. 4.
