It is for the information of all the concerned eligible candidates desirous of appearing in Combined Competitive Examination, 2012 that the Government (GAD) has referred 65 vacancies to J&K Public Service Commission on 22.03.2012 for being filled up through the said examination. * 3% horizontal reservation for PHC in terms of Government Order No. 61-SW of 2011 dated: 13.03.2001 Following information is notified for the benefit of the aspiring candidates:12The vacancies shall be filled up in accordance with SRO 387 of 2008 dated 01.12.2008 read with SRO 98 of 2012 dated 22.03.2012. Tentative date of issuance of detailed Notification for invitation of application on 10th or after April, 2012. Sale and Receipt of Application Forms from identified/designated branches of J&K Bank Ltd on cash payment as per the fee to be prescribed in the notification. The designated branches shall be notified separately. Tentative date of conduct of Preliminary Examination 5th August, 2012. Tentative date of commencement of Main Examination 15th February 2013.

Note:1: Candidates must hold a Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University in India or from a Foreign University declared by Government in consultation with the Commission to be equivalent to a degree of a recognized Indian University. Provided that candidates who have appeared fully on or before the last date for receipt of application forms for Preliminary Examination for such degree from any such University the passing of which would render them eligible to appear in the examination but the result of their examination has not been declared, shall be allowed to appear in the preliminary examination. All such candidates who are declared qualified by the Commission for taking the Combined Competitive (Main) Examination shall have to produce proof of passing such examination with their applications for the Main Examination failing which such candidates shall not be admitted to the Main Examination; Note-2: The detailed scheme of examination containing relevant SRO Notifications and also the syllabus for Preliminary examination and the Main examination shall be provided to the candidates along with the application forms from the designate branches of the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Ltd. on/after 10th April, 2012. However, the syllabus with the scheme of examination (SRO 387 of 2008 dated: 01.12.2008 read with SRO 98 of 2012 dated: 22.03.2012) is available on the commissions website: www.jkpsc.nic.in and www.jkpsc.org.
