We spent two blue sky days with all the mountain ranges visible in Seattle to visit our s on on spring break from UW and to look at areas where we plan to purchase two homes.

So leaving the Northgate area we drove into the beautiful Ballard section and ended up on the coast by the boat marinas. Preparing to turn around and leave we noticed a l ine of world class interesting people patiently waiting in a queue to order from a medium size sidewalk eatery. The volume that would have made the "Soup Nazi" jealous in New York.

Parking is difficult to find, but I parked in the 30 minute space in front while my ex-wife stood in line, ordered and waited.

While waiting and observing the interesting people, I remembered that the human form was my subject matter when I use to paint and draw as an artist. That nature causes me to notice detailed characteristics like a group of four young ladies with features that appeared middle

eastern or possibly Armenian. This activate my mind like a recorder of things to convert into images or words. Noticing the clothing styles of people today, one person wore all black and short brown boots with her black hair pulled back to flower her lovely olive/tan skin, ethnic nose other

art studio and create again. This concludes how much time you will have to ponder your thoughts while waiting for your food order.

Returning to the car with a pull pork sandwich we moved across the street, cut the sandwich in half since the food preparer didn't, wrapped it up again and drove back up into the Ballard hills to park and look at the interesting homes with a view of the mountains lining the body of water down below.

Yummy oohs and aahs resulted as the flavor and quality of that sandwich came forth. You could tell that high heat and fire had done its magic. It made me think about building an outside kitchen when I buy a home so I could safely cook that way. It also made me remember that my secret fantasy business has always remained a NY style Kosher hotdog restaurant with a theme and the offering of a modified secret family recipe that dates back to ancient Rome.

*The sandwich was perfect with grilled onions, fire roasted pull pork, lettuce, and high quality real bread. So we decided instead of retrieving the son from his place a fighting traffic back to Chinatown for a repeat visit to "Gourmet Noodle Bowl" that we'd call him, take his order and bring back take out to his place to eat.

A tip when up in the Ballard hills, the GPS will try and make you dive off a dead end road when searching for Paseo and will tell you have arrived three building down from its actual location

when you get there. Drive out to the main road beside the Totem Chowder House with award winning onion rings, take a right turn and head back to the marinas.

We purchased another pull pork sandwich, a pull pork dinner and a chicken dinner. They were all very good, but the chicken meal was not exceptional enough to make us purchase it again. It was mostly okay white rice with some ground chicken topping to mask one the presentation of a partial piece of whole chicken camouflaged with corn chips.

All said and done we agreed that next time we would just order three pull pork sandwiches.

Mazel a presto! Eat life before life eats you.
