Park (2011), " More than one in 10 parents dont follow the recommended vaccination schedule for their children, according to a new study. The CDC lays out specific age and dose schedules for vaccinating children against infectious disease like mumps, pertussis and measles. Thirteen percent of parents surveyed said did not follow the CDCs guidelines, reporting that they skipped some or all vaccines; lengthened the recommended time between doses of certain immunizations; delayed some shots past the recommended age; and split up the measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccine, receiving each part separately. (1 in 10 Parents Skip or Delay Vaccines). b. According to "Oasis Advanced Wellness" (2012), "A glossary of vaccines with the intent to raise awareness about the controversial aspects of vaccination. Many vaccines still contain thimerosal (49.6% ethylmercury by weight). While mercury is a highly toxic element second only to radioactive plutonium, when combined with other ingredients, specifically aluminum and formaldehyde, the synergistic effects increase 10,000-fold. Individuals who suffer from chronic mercury exposure will have a unique expression of symptoms (Informed Choice). c. The CDC states that the U.S. declared an H1N1 pandemic beginning in 2009, however the patent for the vaccine was originally applied for in August of 2007, well before the H1N1 had spread. d. Forced vaccinations are a violation against the 4th and 5th amendment constitutional rights. A federal mandate to vaccinate would allow authorities to enter a persons home or forcibly remove the person from his or her home, which violates the 4th amendment constitutional right, which guarantees a person the right to be secure in his or her home. Forcibly vaccinating a patient with toxic ingredients is depriving the person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law. e. Pharmaceutical companies spend 24.4% on advertising and promotion of their products versus 13.4% on research and development. In 2004, the industry spent roughly $61,000 per physician ("Science Daily", 2011). The pharmaceutical industry is a multi billion dollar industry, and the more vaccines sold, the more profits made. f. Obamacare was mostly composed by representatives form the health insurance and pharmaceutical industry. g. Immunizations should not contain toxins. Parents should be given a copy of ingredients and side effects prior to administering the shot. Inoculations should not be a one size fits all preventatives. h. Some immunizations seem inappropriate, such as the Hepatitis B vaccine, which is administered within 12 hours of life. Hepatitis B is only transmitted during sexual intercourse, on contaminated needles, or during childbirth if the mother is infected. Therefore, it is unlikely that an infant will come in contact with the disease unless the mother is already infected. It makes no sense to inject an infant whose immune system has not yet developed with a disease to fight off within hours of birth.
