Project Description: The San Juan bridge is built by the cast in-situ balanced cantilever method. The entire bridge was designed by BBR Construction Systems, including the design and fabrication of the form carriers used in the construction. A construction cycle of 7 days for every two segments was made possible by the efficient design and simple operation of the form carrier.

Project Description: The two interchanges leading to the upgraded Sungai Besi was built using the precast segmental box sections, erected by the balanced cantilever method. The prestressed tendons used are BBR CONA Bonded Internal System. The BBR CONA Bonded system utilizes 0.6 diameter strands. The tendons are installed inside galvanised ducts, stressed and grouted with cement grout. Project Description: Batang Baram cast in-situ balanced Cantilever Bridge is part of the 1.04km long crossing over Baram River. On completion, this will be the first land crossing linking the town of Miri, Sarawak and Brunei and it will be the longest cast in-situ balanced cantilever bridge in Malaysia.

Project Description: The bridge consists of a cast in-situ balanced cantilever box girder with a main span of 90m and 2 side spans of 50m each. 2 approach spans on each side of the bridge are designed using 30m precast U-beam and slab. The bridge deck wide is 12m with maximum box depth of 5.2m over the main pier.

Project Description:The anchor span between the abutment and main pier is constructed on heavy duty scaffoldings. Upon completion of hammerhead, form traveler is installed to cast the 4m length segments over the main (river) span. Due to the low height of the two piers, the bridge was designed to rest on pot bearings. Upon stressing of cantilever tendons, the top hung form traveler was advanced forward for the next casting. Typical cycle period is 7 days.
