Associate in Math Education (DTA/MRP) Transfer Degree Worksheet - Fall 2007 (A782)
Completion of at least *90 applicable credits, including transferred-in credits, with a minimum cumulative gpa of 2.0.
All courses applied must be numbered 100 or above. At least 15 credits must be earned from Seattle Central CC.
Students should apply for the award / graduation one (1) quarter prior to the anticipated graduation date.
Completion of the Associate in Math Ed. degree does not guarantee admission to a university or into a major program.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Students must complete one (1) course in US Cultures / Global studies, "US/GS".
The "US/GS" course is NOT additional credit, but is taken within the Distribution Areas as part of the 90 required credits.

1) Although the Associate in Math Education degree is designed to fulfill prerequisites needed for entrance into a B.A. program.
Completion of the degree does not guarantee admissions into a university or a teacher education program.
2) Earning the Assoc. Math Ed. degree requires a min. overall GPA of 2.0. However, GPA entrance requirements vary at each university.
Competitive schools can require a 3.0 or higher in overall General Admissions and Education program prerequisite GPA’s.
3) Students should contact the 4-year school where the plan to apply and confer with those advisors regarding application deadlines
and any special requirements for the Teacher Education Program and for General College Admissions.
