The MAP, Mobile Application Part, protocol module is used for GSM GMSC/ GMLC functionality for connection to HLR, MSC and SGSN (GMLC) according to ETSI MAP standards. For ATI and USSD the MAP module acts as an gsmSCF for connection to HLR and GMLC (only ATI). Provide Subscriber Info supports any node connected to a VLR. Standards

Interface

The upper interface establishes communication with the MAP module. The interface supports C or C++ code. The thread-safe API offers one function for each primitive for the upper interface. This module can also be used with a Java API.
