The system does not allow more then one POP3 connection to the same account at the same
time. If you are downloading messages from the same account from several computers, please
make sure that you are not using them simultaneously. Simultaneous IMAP and webmail
connections are possible.
If you change your password using the webmail interface, please make sure that you also set
your new password in the password field of Default Mail Account. This is done in Preferences
Icon -> Mail -> Accounts. Select Default Mail Account and modify the password field with the new
value.
Mail Troubleshooting instructions
Webmail/POP3/IMAP4 invalid password
If it's your first time logging on to the new system and the password is invalid, please call
Makedonski Telekom Customer Care service at free telephone number 0800 12345 to report this
problem for correction. If you have been using the system and you receive an unexpected error of
unable to connect in any interface (POP3, IMAP, webmail), please close the mail client and all
browsers that have webmail open. If you haven't modified your password, DO NOT tries to retype
the password in the mail client, since it is not a source of problem. After closing all interfaces to
the mail (webmail, POP or IMAP clients), restart your mail client.
Messages already downloaded with POP3 are being downloaded again
Disconnect and close your POP3 client program. Use your webmail interface to delete the
offending messages if they are no longer needed, or move them to a different folder. Then restart
your POP3 client and check whether the situation is corrected. If the problem is persisting, please
call Makedonski Telekom Customer Care service at 0800 12345 to report this problem. Please
make sure to inform the operator of all steps that you have taken which led to the errors.
Account is Blocked error in Webmail Interface
Security restrictions on the webmail system will block the account that has had 10 consecutive
invalid logon attempts. Please call Makedonski Telekom Customer Care service at free telephone
number 0800 12345 to report this problem.
Error message in the Webmail interface
If an error message is displayed in the webmail interface, please write down the error message
as it appears on the screen, or take a screenshot of the message. Call Makedonski Telekom
Customer Care service at free telephone number 0800 12345 to report this problem and give
them the error message, and explain all steps that you have taken which led to the error
message. This information is needed for debugging and support analysis.
Connection not established error in Webmail interface
Please check whether you have set your password correctly in the password field of Default Mail Account.
This is done in Preferences Icon -> Mail -> Accounts. Select Default Mail Account and modify the
password field with the new value.
