Wilson hails from Brooklyn, New York where she was raised by her parents who are now retired after working 26 years in the field of social work and emergency medicine in the state of New York. Wilson has acquired a Bachelors of Science in Business Technical Management, with a concentration of Sales & Marketing, graduating Magna cum Laude from DeVry University. Currently, Wilson will be completing her Masters of Science in Psychology with a specialization of Leadership Development and Coaching in the summer of 2012 from Walden University. This entrepreneur has worked in the Human Resource field for 17 years as a Senior HR professional, and has ushered several individuals towards identifying the strengths and weaknesses that have motivated them to reach beyond their limited scope. There has never been a dull moment in Mrs. Wilsons personal and professional journey of achievements. Wilson has led fellow scholars toward reaching their goals. Her determination has inspired colleagues to connect and reinforce the need to perform with excellence. Wilson has been a integral part of the New Jersey Higher Education Student Advisory Board, held several officer roles within the Future Business Leaders of America (DeVry Chapter), as well as, American Association of University Women, Business Student Development Club, assigned as Campus Ambassador at DeVry and she is also a member of the Sigma Beta Delta honor society. She has written for DeVry Universitys online magazine, At Odds with Circumstance. Wilson was also instrumental in the S.T.A.R. (Students Taking Active Responsibility) program at DeVry University, in which she created the first Health Event that consisted of sponsorships from the medical industry. Wilson thrives on success and giving up is not an Option! Wilsons motto is: Shared knowledge makes the impossible possible. She has been gifted with a heightened responsibility towards her fellow man. Wilson believes in staying focused on short and long term goals, which she attributes to being taught to never let her environment dictate her outcome in life as a child. Not only has Wilson been gifted with leadership and communication skills, but her integrity is impeccable. After four years of planning, brain-storming, and formulating a business plan of action; Teach4Life Consulting LLC, evolved into a reality on November 1, 2011. Launched in the heart of West Orange as a training and development program by Founder/CEO Timamu Wilson, Teach4Life Consulting applies psychological methodologies and development concepts to businesses, individuals, and organizations both big and small. She is fulfilled in life with her academic and business achievements, as well as, having a strong and loving marriage of ten years, along with her close ties to family and friends.
