Scott 3/31/12

Tzav 2012
This week we are given another portion that causes us to have to dig harder and deeper in order to glean the importance hidden within it. Tzav/Command! covers Leviticus 6:8-8:36 and seems to repeat much of the same information as the beginning of Vayikra, with just a few additional details provided. With the focus being placed once again on the offerings/qorbanot, instead of skimming over it as if it is idle words, we must ask ourselves what is the significance of Yahweh choosing to repeat Himself? Leviticus 6:8-9 Command: Strongs #6680 tsavah to command, charge, give orders, lay charge, give charge to, order; this becomes our first clue! Though this word tsavah has a in its traditional form, here in this verse the is dropped spelling just tzav the = represents the feminine suffix, symbolic of it becoming fruitful and reproductive, in other words a womb, is formed with the letter ( door) & the letter ( spark of life, seed, specifically the spark/seed of Yahweh). = door to the womb through which the spark/seed of Yahweh enters! Yet this is the letter missing! Further emphasizing this, the gematria of tzav = 96, Jeremiah 52:23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side, refers to the pomegranates at the tops of the pillars of the Temple, representing the seed/loins of the Temple Man! We are given another clue as well hidden among the Hebrew letters, found within the word burning. Burning: Strongs #4169 mowqedah hearth; written here in this verse with a diminished = the womb! The 3 letter root of mowqedah = Strongs #6916 qiddah a spice, cassia, one of the spices of the anointing oil (oil = shemen symbolic of seed as well), once again pointing us towards a diminished womb unable to house the seed! *This is the same shadow picture seen in Numbers 5 concerning the bitter waters the adulterous woman must drink of, if she is guilty her belly and thigh rot out (womb diminished), Numbers 5:15 he shall pour no oil/shemen upon it (concerning her offering of barley meal) Yahweh is revealing to us part of the purpose of the altar, its where the one who faces the bitter waters, the adulterous woman comes, who is unable to house the seed of the Temple Man/Messiah! 96 (value of Tzav) Ninety: Strongs #8673 tishiym ninety; from #8159 shaah to look at or to, regard, gaze at or about, to look at 1

something with approval and to accept it Six: Strongs #8337 Shesh six; spelled the same as #8336 fine linen; 6 is also the gematria of #906 bad linen, this is the term used in the beginning of this portion! *In other words, the one whose womb has been diminished is commanded (tzav) to look at the linen! Why? Could it be that it will reveal how we can be restored? Leviticus 6:10 Ashes: Strongs #1880 deshen fat ashes, fatness; this word for ashes, unlike the term aphar dealing with ashes/dust/connotations of death, deals with something fresh, thriving, to anoint, be fertile, to be nourished, prosperous and healthy. Word Picture: = door = learned man; = seed, life It is the one gird with linen (intricate connection between linen and the light/Word/Seed of Yahweh) that can make the diminished womb fruitful, fertile, and thriving again!! It opens the door to the seed of the learned man/Messiah! How does this happen? There are 2 places that the ashes are brought, but only one of those locations deals with the priest being clothed in the linen, where we are commanded to look! Beside: Strongs #681 etsel beside, by, near, joining, proximity; 2 letter root of etsel forms tsel #6738) )shadow, shade; used throughout the Psalms to describe the shadow of thy wings referring to Yahweh as a place of refuge. Wings: Strongs #3671 kanaph wing, extremity, edge, border, corner, shirt, garment; Malachi 4:2 refers to the Son of Righteousness arising with healing in his wings, the idiom to spread ones wings over means to take to wife Ezekiel 16:8 Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time [was] the time of love; and I spread my skirt/kanaph over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith Yahweh, and thou becamest mine. Altar: Strongs #4196 mizbeach altar; gematria = 57, same value as banah (#1129) to build up, rebuild, establish, cause to continue, to establish a family/build a house *In other words when the ashes were put beside the altar, it dealt with the one who was not fit to house the seed of Yahweh, being place under the shadow of His wings a place where she could be healed and restored and then taken as His bride! This was the way that she could once again gain access to the seed of the learned man and be used to build the family/house!

Going back to the very 1st verse of this portion we see the same thing encoded within the Hebrew: Vs. 6 = Vayedaber YHVH el Mosheh lemor. 5 words (womb/ability to be fruitful) and 18 letters (18 = chai/life). = a preposition meaning to, into, concerning, basic meaning of toward; = from/out of ( )the lamb ( = (;no ( )bitter/bitterness/bitter waters ( .)If the Bride will place herself into/head toward what came from/out of the lamb then there will be no bitter waters/no curse! Its no accident that this portion leads us directly into Passover, the time that marks Israel coming to the kanaph/wings (Exodus 19:4 Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and [how] I bare you on eagles wings/kanaph, and brought you unto myself.) and Passover as well teaches us what came from/out of the lamb! In order to properly understand this we must look at the events surrounding Pesach as well. The term tsavah (root of tzav) is used in connection with 2 plagues of Egypt. 1) Water turned to blood (Exodus 7:20) 2) Concerning the preparation for Passover leading up to the final judgment of the death of the firstborn (Exodus 12:28) *Notice both the first judgment and the last deal with blood, but it has very different results, showing 2 different states of the Bride! Exodus 7:17-18 Rod: Strongs #4294 matteh staff, branch, tribe, represented authority, leadership, and the ability and right to reproduce and pass on seed; represents the staff that when the Bride is joined to it will cause her to receive the seed of the learned man/Messiah if her womb has not remained in a diminished state (as the portion hints at)! = womb & = womb (specifically the perverted womb) & = the ability to conceive and be fruitful. It reveals to us the 2 ways that we have the potential to present ourselves before the learned man, a prepared vessel or one who has a diminished/perverted womb! Gematria = 54, same as 2 letter root of niddah & same as aggan (#101) bowl, basins, same word is used in Exodus 24:6 describing the bason that the blood was placed in, in order to sprinkle it upon Israel during the wedding ceremony at Sinai, the blood of the covenant. The encounter with the staff/rod will expose those that are niddah and cause a distinction to be made between them and those who will stand at Sinai to receive the blood of the Covenant those that carried out on the wings and those that receive bitter waters! With this understanding, the result of the staff striking the waters then sends a very clear message! The Nile was referred to as the womb. It is the waters of the womb that protect the seed. Here the waters have been turned to blood, symbolic of the menstruation of a woman, which flushes out the seed (symbolic of death and life being lost) and makes the woman niddah/unclean 3

and her womb diminished and exposed as unfit before the learned man! Turned: Strongs #2015 haphak to turn, overthrow, overturn; 2 letter root = #6378) )vial, flask, a container for oil/shemen (which represents seed!) the womb rejected, turned away, overthrew the seed from the staff of Yahweh! Stink: Strongs #887 baash to have a bad smell, to stink, smell bad; = in & = esh, fire In the fire, another link to this portion tzav that teaches us through the altar and burnt offerings how this bride who has presented herself with a diminished womb can be restored, even though she has rejected the seed here at the beginning (water turning to blood) there is a chance for redemption! *In this state, the bride faces the bitter waters, but if she will look to the lamb, her redemption will come at Passover. It is no coincidence that the offering brought when facing the bitter waters is barley; it is also the ripening of the barley that determines the time of redemption, or Passover! With the water turned to blood and the term baash/stink being used we are given another clue! Job 31:40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. Cockle: Strongs #890 boshah stinking things, stinking or noxious weeds; from #889 beosh stench, foul odor, cognate of #887 baash used here for stink! In other words, not only did this plague reveal the niddah condition of the bride, it also was a sign that it was not quite time for her redemption/Passover, she wasnt ready just yet to accept what would be offered to her by the Lamb!! Instead of barley (Passover) cockle (stench)! Exodus 12:7-10 Her redemption comes in the fire! Yahweh specifically states that the lamb must be roasted with fire! In the fire (the lambs sacrifice, we are restored) Roast: Strongs #6748 tsaliy roasted, roast; gematria = 130, the same as Sinai the place where the Bride receives her Covenant and the Torah. There is a direct connection between the lamb being roasted and being one who is fit to be present as Sinai! In other words, the lamb will bring about the necessary changes to cause one with a perverted womb to be changed to one who is a fit vessel. Sideposts: Strongs #4201 mezuwzah doorpost, gatepost; gematria = 65, same value as #4206 maziyach girdle, that which girds the loins *As they applied the blood to the doorposts it was representing the blood being applied to the area of the loins, the same area cursed by the bitter waters. Blood: #1818 dam blood, which is the mirror image of mad

(#4055) garments (referring to the linen garments the Priest put on to remove the ashes!) Upper Door Post: Strongs #4947 mashqowph lintel (of the door); from #8259 shaqaph to overlook, look down or out, overhang, to lean over and look; 3 letter root forms #4943 mesheq son of possession, heir This time the blood shows us a very different picture! Instead of revealing a diminished womb that is niddah and rejects the seed of Yahweh, it instead proclaims the same as the altar does in this portion Tzav, to lean over and look (shaqaph) at the one in linen/blood (dam/mad), it is the Son of Possession, the rightful heir (mesheq), the Messiah! Because if the Bride will look to the Messiah/the man in Linen, it will then cause her to receive healing, be restored and taken in marriage, and become fruitful again! *This same pattern is seen after the fall of Adam & Eve, when the womb becomes diminished/perverted by accepting the seed of the serpent she (Eve) too is commanded to follow the same protocol to look at the man clothed in linen! Remember that garment (mad) and blood (dam) are a mirror image of each other in the Hebrew! Adam contains the same 2 letter root but he is also clothed by Yahweh with the skins (blood) and he represents the Priest of Yahweh, the man in linen. Genesis 3:16 and thy desire [shall be] to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. Desire: Strongs #8669 teshuwqah desire, longing; from #7783 shuwq to be abundant, cognate of #7785 showq leg, thigh, the very area either covered by the blood/garment or cursed by the bitter waters; is the same 2 letter root found in the term upper door post/mashqowph Her longing is to the man clothed in blood/linen that will cause the blood to be upon her doorposts and redeem her from the bitter waters! After this, just as weve seen already the one with the diminished womb, she is healed and able to be fruitful again; Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. Eve: Strongs #2332 Chavvah life, living Exodus 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye [are] Token: Strongs #226 owth sign, signal, token, proof; from #225 uwth to consent, agree; *remember when the water turned (haphak) to blood was symbolic of the rejection of the Word/Seed of Yahweh, the blood on the doorposts is symbolic of the consent and agreement with it, the acceptance of it! *Israel places themselves in the houses with the blood going towards

that which came from the lamb to be redeemed from the bitter waters/curse! As we prepare to celebrate Passover again, we are reminded that soon it will not just be a reminder, or a rehearsal, but again will mark the time where those who have looked to the lamb will be brought on eagles wings to meet with Him! Those that reject Him will face the bitter waters (Revelation 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication).
