d.

Learning Objective: Cognitive 1. Students are able to presenting data in bar charts by giving everyday life problem corectly. 2. Students are able to presenting data in a line diagram by giving everyday life problem. 3. 4. Students are able to presenting data in a pie chart by giving everyday life problem. Students are able to differ the using presenting data by giving everyday life problem.

Psycomotor

1. Students are able to drawing bar charts by given everyday life corectly. 2. Students are able to drawing line diagrams by given everyday life corectly. 3. Students are able to drawing circle diagrams by given everyday life corectly. Afective 1. Behavior Character : Students join in teaching and learning process student center. Students are able to show their responsibllity, careful, and never give up. 2. Social Skills : Students join in teaching and learning process of student center. Student can practice to be good listener, brave to asking, answering question and brave to saying their argument. e. Learning Model: Classroom Discussion Learning Method: Beach ball strategy.

f.

Learning Resource: Text book and Worksheet

g.

Learning Activities: Introduction ( 15 minutes) Phase 1. Clarify aims and establish set 1. 2. Teacher explains the aims and procedures for the lesson. Apperception : Teacher remainds students how to represent world problems into bar charts, line diagram and circle diagram that they learn before. Bar Graph A special graph that uses bars to show relative sizes of data Imagine you just did a survey of your friends to find which kind of movie they liked best. Here are the results: TABLE FAVORITE TYPE OF MOVIE Action Romance Drama 5 6 1

Comedy 4

Sci-Fi 4

Pie Chart - A special chart that uses "pie slices" to show relative sizes of data. Comedy 4 4/20 360 = 72 Action 5 5/20 360 = 90 Romance 6 6/20 360 = 108 Drama i 1 1/20 360 = 18 SciFi 4 4/20 60 = 72 TOTAL 20 360

Line Graph - A graph that shows information that is connected in some way (such as change over time) The table below shows daily temperatures for New York City, recorded for 6 days, in degrees Fahrenheit. Temperatures in New York City Day Degree in Fahrenhait 1 43 2 53 3 50 4 57 5 59 6 67

3.

Motivation : Teacher gives motivation that dealing with presenting data in our daily life.

Badan Pusat Statistik is using bar chart to know and compare the population growth every year in Indonesia. Bursa Efek is usually use the line diagram to know the change rate of money change dollar to rupiah. Pie diagram is usually to knowing the percentage of harvest from garden..... 4. Teacher sets the seating of students become U-shape. Main Activities ( 50 minutes) Phase 2. Focus the discussion 5. 6. Students are told that the learning activity use beach ball strategy. Teacher tells the rule to the students about beach ball strategy: o Teacher gives some question to the students. o Teacher throws a ball to one student who raises her/his hand to answer the teachers question, if no one raises his hand the teacher throws the ball to the student freely. o Student who gets the ball must answer the question. o If the answer is true the ball back to the teacher. Each students get worksheet from the teacher. Students are asked to give attention to the worksheet.

7. 8.

Phase 3. Hold the discussion 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. 14. 15. Teacher gives the question and throws the ball to one of student who raises his hand to answer the question. It is signal that the discussion is begun. Student who gets the ball answer the question in worksheet number 1. Teacher asks the other students opinion about the answer of the first student. Student who already answer the first question throws the ball to the other friends. Student who gets the ball answer the next question in the worksheet. Students are motivated to be active in discussion. If there are passive students, teacher or student can throw the ball to them.

Closure ( 15 minutes) Phase 4. End the discussion 16. Teacher gives feedback to the answer of the worksheet. 17. Teacher tells the meaning of the discussion that already held to students. o Students can differ the using of bar chart, line diagram and circle diagram correctly. o Students can be active to give the opinion and share their ideas into whole class. 18. Teacher gives individual quiz to the students to know their understanding.

Phase 5. Debrief the discussion 19. Teacher and students make summaries of the learning today.

20. 21.

A bar chart is useful for comparing facts. The bars provide a visual display for comparing quantities in different categories. Bar graphs help us to see relationships quickly. Bar graphs can have horizontal or vertical bars. Another name for a bar graph is a bar chart. A line diagram is useful in displaying data or information that changes continuously over time. The points on a line graph are connected by a line. Another name for a line graph is a line chart. A pie chart shows how the parts of something relate to the whole. A pie graph is divided into sectors, where each sector represents a particular category. Pie chart are popular because they provide a visual presentation of the whole and its parts. However, they are best used for displaying data when there are no more than 5 or 6 sectors and when the values of each section are different. Students are asked about the impression of the discussion that already held. Teacher asks the students to learn the next topic for the next meeting.

h. Assesment SCORING CARD OF INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCE Scoring No. 1. 2. 3. 4. Performance Showing comprehension dealing with bar chart, line diagram and pie chart. The skill to draw bar chart, line diagram and pie chart. The skill to comprehend the problems dealing with bar chart, line diagram and pie chart. The skill to solve problems dealing with bar chart, line diagram and pie chart. Achieved Score Maximum Score 16 4 3 2 1
