What is CREB iFax Service?

Fax-to-Email Service - uses the Internet to connect to Fax Machines. A Direct Fax Service to replace costly fax machines and fax lines. You get your own Fax # to Receive Faxes to your e-mail inbox. Allows you to send and receive faxes as attachments via email. You can send and receive faxes from any internet computer. Brokerages can have multiple Fax #s for different staff & departments. How do I send and receive faxes with CREB iFax?

Send a fax:
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Log into Primary Email Account registered with CREB iFax. Open Compose Message or New Mail Message in Email. Enter faxnumber@crebifax.ca in the To line. Attach document file(s) that you want to fax. Click Send Subscriber can insert or append a Cover Page. 3. 4.

Receive a Fax:
1. 2. Give sender your unique fax #. Receive fax as PDF attachment to your Email account. Open attachment to view or print fax File attachment to desired folder and/or forward it.

No monthly cost for Basic Service. Low cost per page beyond Page Allotment. No cost for sending and receiving faxes with other CREB iFax Subscribers. Can I use my current Fax Number with CREB iFax?

YES* - Your existing fax machine # can be ported to the CREB iFax Service. - You can also request a toll free fax # for clients to use when out of town. - Faxes received on either # delivered to the email addresses you specify.
(*Note The vast majority of numbers used by Fax machines can be ported to the new service.)

How do I sign up for the CREB iFax service?

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Click here for an online registration form. Complete online registration form and click submit. Confirm receipt of Terms of Use & Operating Instructions. Your local iFax# will be emailed to you. You can begin sending faxes from your computers email account and receiving faxes to your email inbox.

Speedy Sign up: Subscribers will typically receive confirmation and CREB iFax # within a few minutes. Requests to port existing fax machine #s typically take 2 to 4 weeks, as Service Provider has to coordinate cutover with the teleco that is providing your current fax service.

Quick Tip Sheet - SENDING A FAX THROUGH CREB iFax

1. Scan the document into the computer. 2. Login into your Email. (ie: Shaw, Telus, Google)
*You MUST use the primary email address you signed up with on CREB iFax.

3. Compose Email. 4. In the To field type in fax number with @crebifax.ca. Remember DO NOT put a dash between the numbers or spaces, but you must have a 1 for a long distance fax, for example: 16139901164@crebifax.ca 5. In subject put why you are sending them the fax, or what the fax is pertaining to. 6. Optional you can write a message in the body of the email instead of a cover sheet. 7. Send. 8. Wait 2 minutes and then hit refresh on your Email to see if a fax has been sent. CREB iFax will send a confirmation back to you. DONE
