Mechanism of chisel plow

This invention relates to an automatic release mechanism for a cultivator which provides good resistance to release of the shank holder and which upon release causes the shank holder to rise to a good height to clear obstacles encountered during operation of the cultivator. The shank holder is mounted so as to pivot about an axis and is retained in the working position by a pair of springs under tension, the forward end of the springs being mounted in front of and beneath the position of the pivot axis of the shank holder, and the moment arm of the springs is such that, as the shank holder pivots, the moment arm decreases resulting in the tangential force applied by the springs to the ground engaging tool about the pivot axis remaining substantially constant during pivoting of the shank holder to clear an obstacle .

Mechanism of moldboard plow

A moldboard plow with a bidirectional moldboard which includes a moldboard frame that can turn by use of a reversal mechanism which also serves as a tilting mechanism. Included is a hitching frame which has a central pole and hitching plates, a moldboard frame having a guide member extending along the longitudinal axis thereof, a set of bidirectional moldboards fastened to the hitching frame by a pivot pin for reversal of the plow so that the bidirectional moldboards cuts into the soil on a right and left side of the plow, a tilting mechanism for tilting said hitching frame and a reversing mechanism connected to the guide member of the moldboard frame for moving the moldboard frame and the set of bidirectional moldboards to the right side and left side of the plow.

Krause raises the bar... again. The new 7300 Series Flex-Wing Tandem Disc Harrows are destined to be the benchmark for the highly versatile, medium weight class disc, much like their popular predecessors, the 3950 and 3990 Series.

In sizes from 18' to 34', the 7300's offer a wide range of standard and optional equipment choices to match the specific tillage needs of your farm. With a weight per foot of cut at 430 lbs. maximum, the 7300 is tops in it's class. New option choices include walking tandem wheels and hydraulic leveling... productive additions with precision depth control and more stable discing performance the benefit. Choose from standard models with rigid bearing arms or Krause's popular and rugged, Rock-Flex models with flexible C-type bearing arms. All 7300's come equipped with 22" diameter disc blades and a choice of 7 3/4" spacing for optimum seedbed

finishing, or 9 1/8" spacing for all around performance and optimum penetration in primary work. And just like the highly successful 3950 and 3990 Series which they replace, the 7300 carries on the 17 degree front and rear gang angle. 17 degree gang angles give the 7300 unmatched performance for residue sizing, soil mixing, herbicide incorporation and field finish while reducing draft and compaction. And it accomplishes all these tasks without the negative performance attributes associated with "shallow concavity" blades as used on some competitive brands. You'll find there's al lot more to the 7300 story... read on to find out how this top performer can boost your farm's productivity.

Mechanism of spike tooth

Abstract;Wheat straw combine is used to collect and bruise the straw and stubbles left in grain combine harvested field. The performance of a straw combine with spike-tooth type bruising mechanism was determined on the basis of net specific fuel consumption and straw quality. The optimum combination with spike-tooth type mechanism was for concave bar spacing(C) 11mm, cylinder speed(S) 30.83m/s and feed rate(F) 21.5q/h. The performance of straw combine with serrated-tooth type bruising mechanism was compared with the performance of straw combine having spike-tooth type bruising mechanism. Serrated-tooth type bruising mechanism was requiring 6-8% less net specific fuel consumption as compared to the spike-tooth type bruising mechanism. But splitting of the straw was better for spiketooth type bruising mechanism as compared to the straw splitting obtained for serrated tooth type bruising mechanism. (author abst
