1) Click on the Publications menu located at the top of any EBSCO database.
------------------------------------------------------------------2) In the Browse Publications field enter the journal title to be set up and click Browse, or navigate using the alphabet below.

3) Next to the titles youll see the icon to create a journal alert ( ). When you click that a window will appear.

4) You may copy and paste the link below to add it to your RSS reader or click Sign In to receive email alerts.

5) In order to set up an email alert you need to sign in to My EBSCOhost. If you do not yet have an account you may create one from this page.

6) Enter your email address and click Save Alert to have the Journal Alert sent to you with the default settings (expires after 6 months). Click on Advanced Settings to change alert duration, format, etc.

7) In the Run Alert box, select how long you want to receive alert notifications (i.e. six months, one year, etc.).
8) Enter your email address here. 9) Select whether you want the email to be plain text or HTML, and if you want links to the Table of Contents or links to individual articles within the body of the email.

11) Be sure you are signed into My EBSCOhost using the User Name and Password you created earlier.

12) Begin on the Advanced Search page (the default page). Click on Search History, beneath the search boxes.

14) This takes you to any Search Alerts you may have saved (you may edit or delete those from this page). In order to edit or delete your Journal Alerts, click on Journal Alerts toward the bottom of the My Folder menu.

15) Once on the Journal Alerts page, check the box next to the alert(s) you wish to discard. Then click Delete Items. A box will pop up asking if you are sure you want to delete this alert. Click OK. Your Journal Alerts folder should now no longer show that alert.
