1. All students who pass out from the 10th std of Vijayagiri Public School will be given admission to one of the above groups on the basis of the marks obtained in the 10th Board Examination. 2. Students from other schools will be selected on the basis of the performance in the selection examination to be conducted as per the following schedule. Last date for receiving Application : 15-03-2012. Venue of the examination : Vijaygiri Public School. Date of the Examination : 31-03-2012 (Saturday). Time of examination : 10 am to 2 pm with an interval in between. Subjects tested : English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology / Computer. Type of questions : Objective with one correct answer from four options. Syllabus : 10 std text book of CBSE / ICSE / State Board. There will be 3 separate papers for CBSE / ICSE / State Board students. Publication of Result in the Website : 6 pm on 05-04-2012. Conformation by the student through Email on or before 10-04-2012. Date of joining in the school : Between 10-04-2012 and 15-04-2012. Classes begin on 01-06-2012. Other Particulars 1. No donation or deposit amount, only fees. 2. Fee for 1st year Rs. 30000/- to be given at the time of joining in the form of demand draft in favour of Vijayagiri Public School. A/c No. 018901419924195001, CSB, Kombodinjamakal Branch. Caution Deposit for 2 years Rs. 5000/- to be given in the form of demand draft in favour of Vijayagiri Public School. A/c No. 018901419924195001, CSB, Kombidinjamakal Branch at the time of joining. This amount will be refunded along with the Transfer Certificate, after deducting individual breakage and common breakage, if any. Cost of books & cost of uniform will be extra, to be paid by the student at the time of admission. The student will get the uniform stitched by his favourite tailor, according to the sample given. 3. Entrance Coaching will be by Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes. The place of entrance coaching will be the school/hostels. For fees and other particulars the student has to approach the Kombidi centre of Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes. Admission for entrance coaching will be done at Kombidi centre. Note: - Whenever you give fees, whether at school or coaching centre, get the fee receipt and keep it with you till the end of the course. 4. Hostel Accommodation:100 boys and 100 girls will be given admission to Prof. P. C. Thomas Hostels at Kombidi. In addition to the above, 50 girls will be admitted to the Vijayagiri campus hostel. All students aspiring for admission to the above hostels will have to undergo Bridge course, which will be conducted from 09-04-2012 to 19-15-2012 at 1) Chaithanya classes, Thrissur 2) Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes, Thrissur 3) Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes at Elamthuruthy 4) Prof. P. C. Thomas Classes at Kombidi and secure more than 60% of marks as the average of all the examinations conducted in the Bridge Course. You can join any of the above centres. Students who get admission at Vijayagiri Public School will preferably join Kombidi centre. Note :- 100 boys and 100 girls will be admitted at Prof. P. C. Thomas Hostels at Thrissur. They must necessarily undergo Bridge course at any of the above places and secure more than 60% of marks as the average of all the examination conducted in the Bridge Course. They can join selected schools at Thrissur. Important Note :1) Those who join Prof. P. C. Thomas Hostels at Thrissur need not necessarily write the selection examination but they have to attend the Bridge Course and secure more than 60% of marks as the average of all the examination conducted in the Bridge Course. 2. Those who join Vijayagiri Hostels will have to satisfy two conditions. 1) They must secure atleast 60% marks as the average of all the examination conducted in the Bridge Course. 2) They must get into the selection list through the selection examination on 3103-12.
