We welcome to this years conference, men whose heart and passion is for the gospel.

The Bala Ministers Conference is a marvellous opportunity to join with other Bible-believing, cross-centred and Christ-loving men from across the UK for prayer, ministry and fellowship. Paul Mallard is the Director of Training and Development of the Midlands Gospel Partnership and former pastor of Woodgreen Evangelical Church in Worcester. He is zealous for teaching the Bible so that it is readily understood and applicable to life today. He believes that training a new generation of Christian leaders is very important and has been involved in a number of training programmes.

Brotherly care for one another in ministry: a practical example from newton and Cowper - Brian edwards

Brian Edwards is a Christian author, lecturer and teacher based in the United Kingdom. His twenty books include historical biographies, Christian theologies and apologetics. His wider ministry includes preaching and lecturing both in the UK and abroad.

Gospel cooperation: an encouraging example - stePhen Clark


After practising as a solicitor for some years, Stephen trained for the ministry on the Evangelical Movement of Wales Theological Training Course. He pastored a new church in Llandrindod Wells, then in Abersychan, before becoming pastor of Freeschool Court Evangelical Church, Bridgend. In addition, he is Director of the Evangelical Movement of Wales Theological Training Course.

After pastoring in the UK, Andy and his wife Tatyana now serve in Eastern Europe among Evangelical Baptist churches. Their main ministries are Bible teaching, preacher training and helping to build theological foundations in the church.

Born in Aberdare, Adrian was a welsh teacher in Treorci Secondary school between 2006 a 2008 before becoming a pastor of two churches in the Welsh valleys in 2010. He has a growing interest in church history, especially Welsh Christian History.

The conference is open to men who are called to a recognised pastoral/teaching ministry, including those who have completed their course of training and are about to begin their ministry. A discount of 15% is available for first time attendees.

Other meetings at the conference include prayer times, discussions and informal activities. There will be plenty of time for fellowship and relaxing during the free times and meal times. A wide selection of discounted books and resources will be available at the conference bookstall, including a selection of books chosen by the main speakers. BookinG, Cost, aCCoMModation and faCilities

Bryn-y-groes conference centre is situated on the outskirts of the town of Bala and within the outstanding natural beauty of the Snowdonia National Park. Registration for the conference costs 65 (or 30 a day). There are a number of quality B&Bs and hotels in the Bala region along with plenty of places to eat. However if you wish to stay or eat at the conference centre, there are a number of places available (attendees will be required to share a room with other attendees) on a first come, first served basis.
