Article no 1: Human Resource Management And Development

Assets are the backbone of any kind of business but the humans resources are the brains of any kind of business. A business cannot be start with out assets but that business which start by assets cannot be run without brains of humans which leads to the effective results and with higher profit. In last decade especially this 21st century is the century of HRM and HRD. In every kind of organization no work is done without use of effective workforce. Basically the concept of management is depend upon 5ms . From them the first M is Men, the most prominent and useful and considers the first step to get the last step of management stairs. Others are material, machine, money, management. Helpful for getting the objectives of organization like profitability, productivity, growth, leadership and market penetration including two external objective meeting corporate social responsibility and successfully handling environment issues. First international conference whose theme was Human resource management & development showed better result. But after the 2nd International conference a boom is come in the field and does wider scope of HRM in creating wealth. The cricket eleven approaches add a great value in it and HRD become an efficient and important tower to build organization.

Education is compulsory for economic development:

In developing Countries only democracy can never change the economy. People should be educated to make it happens. It is suitable in countries whom have per capita income above from US$1000. Therefore the department of education is compulsory for them without education the economic growth and economic welfare of society. It can be define as: A literate economy can gain more than from an illiterate economy. They know how to idealize and implement and efficient way. Every economy should literate and equip them from the knowledge of innovation because this century is of innovation.

Purpose of Human Resource Development:

The main purpose of HRM is to make prosper the organization through four Ms i.e. men, material, machine, money. When these all aspects use properly than wealth will produce for the nation, organization and employees.

Activities in HRM:
The HR activities of the organization are vast. The activities can be listed out as: 1. General Administration of the employees. 2. Manpower planning 3. Recruitment and selection. 4. Payroll and compensation. 5. Induction and training. 6. Performance appraisal. 7. Designing the Salary structure. 8. Studying the Attrition rate and employee retention. 9. HR - Information system. 10. Preparing HR Budget. 11. Periodical review of the employees and implementing strategies leading to Employee satisfaction. 12. Adhering to the statutory compliances like PF, ESI and other beneficiary activities.

Challenges for Human Resource Management:

Businesses are facing a paradoxical and challenging equation for 2012. On the one hand the crisis make them wonder about the future and how to have as little exposure as possible to what looks like a major threat. This usually makes them freeze their projects and get rid of anything that may load. That, beyond the economic crisis, theres a crisis of management and organization models that caused the erotic behaviors that lead us to the point were now. So theres at the same time the reflex of keeping quiet, still and the feeling that a new way to recovery has to be found. Three main points: Attracting and retaining talents is less important than one year ago (76% vs 80%) Training and education budgets will be downsized by 34% respondents Organization transformation is the new priority (80%)

Suggestions:
On the other hand, if the purpose is to adopt a model based on agility, resilience, a more organic form of organization, the future may look more promising. With whats expected for 2012, faster market transitions and shorter cycles, crisis or not, its essential to adopt agile and resilient models.. The structural inability to keep up with the pace of the knowledge economy then of the digital economy made businesses look for their growth on financial market rather than operational excellence and innovative business models. We all know the result. As Jack Welsh said: When the rate of change outside exceeds the rate of change inside, the end is in sight

Information Technology & HRD :

IT & HRD is the need go 21st century .In other words HRD and IT have the relation of soul and breath. Without IT, HRD will never be happen. A person should equip him with every useful software.
