Thank you En. Mohd Nizam. Now we go to En. Muhamad Al-Bazli. All individuals are determined to meet the time but sometimes they are delayed too. How can we increase the quality of our timeliness quality.

En. Muhamad Al-Bazli -

All these talk about the importance of punctuality are a waste if we do not know how to be punctual in life. Habits are not made overnight. You need to cultivate the habits of timeliness in order to be punctual. Here is how to improve punctuality. Make sure that always wear a watch to keep a clock near you so you can track the time. Also make a note as how much time you take to complete a task. Ask your self can you do the same task in the lesser time. Always plan your work. Make a time table. Its make your work complete in time.

Thank you En. Muhamad Al-Bazli. Back to En. Zulkarnain, we often hear complaints I had to do this and that. I do not enough time to implement so much work. How can we solve this problem.?

En. Zulkarnain Bin Mohd Tap -

In this case we have to plan every job we want to do wisely. This is called time management. Time is special resource that you cant store or save for later use. Everyone has the exact amount of time each day. If we do not use the time wisely, that time cannot be repeated. It will pass just like it. We can avoid complaints about the lack of time in completing a job if we are good at managing our time. Disciplining ourselves to the time actually helps us decide what you desire to do or need to do. This make all our actions are in control and organized

we can control the situation. Those who do not manage time wisely will feel pressured to perform work more effectively.

Moderator - (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK)

Thanks En. Zulkarnain on a clear vision about the importance of the time. Next we will hear a description of how time management can produce work better.

En. Mohd Nizam Bin Abu Bakar -

Effective time management can produce productive individu. For example, we have to plan our work before we start. This will help us to work on targets. Therefore all our work will be completed in time and we will produce better work. Indirectly we can produce excellent individuals. In managing the time, we have to build the table. This table will lay out work. Regular work with this table will help us to perform work according to priorities. Important work can be complete with more focus.

Moderator - (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK)

Thank you for your explanation En. Mohd Nizam. The importance of time management has an impact on a number of factor such as economic life, spiritual, physical and social. Arabic proverb says that time is like a sword. If we do not cut it, it will deduct us. This means we get a lot of good if we manage it wisely. Can En. Muhamad Al-Bazli explain about the benefits of time management.

En. Muhamad Al-Bazli Bin Rosali -

If we use our time well, we find that we can get more thing done. All our work can be completed to achieve the target by more productive. At the same time, it can motivate us. Work is completed properly will give satisfaction to all parties and also ourselves. Good management also affects our health. Working with the time schedule will provide results that will satisfy all. We are going to be praised. Praise is to reduce all the pressures we face in carrying out the work. Various illnesses cause by our pressure will be able to avoid.

Our society will become better with time management. People who manage their time will get more time. This time is required to build our social life. In the modern word, human race to develop for their better economy. We forget the important activities such as spiritual and social activities. To carry out these activities properly he must manage his time well. It is not wrong if I say youth social problems today is because of the failure of the parents manage their time to neglect time with their children. Malay proverb saying that time is gold. Its mean do not waste time. So if we want to gain then we shall manage our time wisely.

Moderator - (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK)

Thanks En Muhamad Al-Bazli. Profit intended by En Bazli just now is that we will always have the main capital in carrying out our work. Our capital is just the time.

For further our discussion about cultural differences in being on time. I am very impressed with the study conducted by a professor on the presence of students lateness to the class. This professor has made comparisons with students in the United States. The finding is the timeliness is less practiced in Brazil. He found that his students are not being rude and careless in their studies. This is due to the culture in Brazil itself. Can En Zulkarnain explain the difference in this culture.

En. Zulkarnain Bin Mohd Tap -

In my opinion being on time have several views and factors. For the culture that values punctuality, complete assignments on time and comply with the table knew as monochronic culture. For countries that agree with the opinion that time should be balanced with the social is known as polychromic culture. These factors resulted in the attitude of punctuality different from country to country. In western countries like America, German and a few culture monochromic consider the time like running water. Use the time it flows, if not we will

waste it only. In countries such as Brazil, polychronic culture would consider that time be renewed. Means the individual has the opportunity and space in the performance of our work.

Moderator - (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK) So.. its mean the delay is a good thing

En. Zulkarnain Bin Mohd Tap -

Oh.. not as well. Actually it depends on the environment and the influence of other culture that practiced in the country. Moderator (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK)

What do you thing En. Nizam. Why some countries accept this polychromic culture. En. Mohd Nizam Bin Abu Bakar

In my opinion, cultural and other practices that are in some country are affecting the attitude of a person receiving delay. In pursuit of global modernization, culture and customs of not less aside. Tolerance in managing time is necessary. For those who can manage time is an impressive and should be proud of. What about the inadvertent delay?. We must be wise to balance our decisions. We need to be tolerance. Of time based on a few features including :

1.Reasonable excused.

In carrying out daily routines, we do not anticipate any unforeseen circumstance emerge. For example illness, traffic jams or the car breaks down. To some extent, this will affect the planning of our time. If delays occur due to an unavoidable, then we need to make a wise decision before taking the correct action.

2. Production Quality Work. In some places, the production of quality works will take a long time to complete. For example the Community in Brazil will complete their work until later time if they are late to start working. Sometimes they take longer than necessary to ensure their products work right is finished. And the results they are better because they can work quietly. So why should the term existed rush among them.

3. in other countries also delay is a matter which is considered generous. They think if someone is late, he yield a very important and always needed everywhere. Moderator (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK)

Why the delay unacceptable in countries like the United monochromic culture, German, Japanese? En. Muhamad Al-Bazli

People in countries that practice this monochromic culture they live and run their daily routine-oriented schedule. Everything is designed. For example they know well schedule the movement of buses and train and they will be at the bus station or train station to as in the itinerary. They do not like wasting time with just waiting at the station. For the community in the west, wasting time is like wasting money. Imagine, you are waiting for a person and he doeas not turn up. You may not consider it is a big thing. But in reality, you have lost money worth the amount earned. In the west custom, the children can ask his mother to wait on the line for 4 to 5 minutes away just to finish his work, that shows how the time importants to the western society. Moderator (AL-HAFIZ BIN IBRAHIM ISHAK) Thank you En. Muhamad Al-Bazli for giving an explanation about the culture being late on time is not accepted by western countries. Now we come to the end of our forum. I would like to thank our panel, En Zulkarnain Bin Mohd Tap, En. Mohd Nizam Bin Abu Bakar and En. Muhamad Al-Bazli Bin Rosali.
