Are all Bible Versions the word of YHWH?

The answer is No. I have used three different versions of the Bible in my lifetime one of which is the real word of YHWH, but it has only come to my attention recently how Satan is using the multiplicity of versions to confuse or lead the mind of man away from YHWHs true word. Have you ever been in a church service where the preacher is reading from a different version than yourself, or has even asked for people to read from the different versions within the congregation that day? My experience has been that I end up wondering whether I am at the same place the pastor is, or if I heard him say the text incorrectly, and by the time I figure out that I am at the right place, the pastor has read the verse and has gone on with his sermon. In my opinion confusion has resulted, and I have not been enlightened by the additional insight the text would have given. In Genesis a story is told of a mighty hunter named Nimrod, who was a descendent of Ham one of Noahs sons (Genesis 10:6, 9). He had a large kingdom in the land of Shinar. At that time the whole earth spoke only one language (Genesis 11:1). Noah and his family had been promised with a rainbow that YHWH would never send a flood upon the earth again (Genesis 9:12, 13). However, the descendants of Nimrod rebelled/disbelieved that promise and begin building a tower within a city that they planned would reach heaven (11:4, 8). This did not please YHWH; He said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one anothers speech. So YHWH scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because YHWH did there confound the language of all the earth: Genesis 11:6-9 The Hebrew definition for Babel is from Strongs #894 which says confusion, Babel (i.e. Babylon). The Greek definition #897 is (Hebrew 894) Capital of Chaldaea (lit. or fig. [as a type of tyranny]). Therefore, when the term Babylon is used to describe someone or something in scripture, it is describing that person as in a state of confusion as illustrated by the actual life of Nimrod and the city of Babel he tried to build while in rebellion against YHWH. As you have looked through our website, you have realized that our goal is to tell the wonderful story of redemption by focusing on the marriage symbolism in the Bible and how the believers in YHWH are encouraged to become a part of the bride ship of His Son Emmanuel. It is a sad commentary to mention, but the Bible shows the transformation of the corporate bride of Messiah from a pure woman beginning with the apostolic age (Revelation 12) to a whore with daughters in the last generation before Emmanuel returns. In fact, John the Revelator, calls the apostatized bride Babylon the Great City (Revelation 17)! This is a sickening story to read about, but it is good in that it places individual responsibility on each of us to be like the Bereans who studied out for themselves what they were listening to. And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those

in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. Acts 17:10, 11 Wherever you are getting your spiritual guidance, nurture, and/or fellowship (including this website), you must become a Berean and search out whether what you are being told matches up with the word of YHWH, for He is calling people to come out of Babylon (confusion i.e. mixing truth with error) and worship Him in spirit and truth. The second angels message of Revelation states: Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Revelation 14:8 The fourth angels message of Revelations states: Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. .Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. Revelation 18:2, 4 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. YHWH is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. John 4:23, 24 YHWH is the author of peace rather than confusion (1 Corinthians 14:33). He does not want confusion mixed with truth within the bride of His Son. YHWHs word is truth, and Satan doesnt want us to understand truth, for he knows that the truth will set us free (John 8:32). Let us begin this study by laying the foundation that YHWHs word is truth and that it is divinely inspired and providentially preserved. YHWHs Word is Truth because He does not Lie Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, OYHWH El of truth. Psalms 31:5 In hope of eternal life, which Elohim, that cannot lie, promised before the world began. Titus 1:2 For when YHWH made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himselfFor men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife. Wherein YHWH, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath: That by two immutable things [Himself he is the greatest there is, and an oath], in which it was impossible for YHWH to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil; Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Yahushua, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrews 6:13, 16-20 bracketed material authors emphasis But I will shew thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: Daniel 10:21 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth forever. Psalms 119:160

The Messiah is speaking to His Father: I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. John 17:14-17 Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalms 119:105 Scripture is of Divine Inspiration We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts: Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation [#1955]. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of YHWH spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. 1 Peter 1:19-21 o The definition of interpretation in this verse -- #1955is different than the other seven definitions of interpretation used within the Bible. The root definition in the other seven verses comes from #2509 which simply means translation. In first Peter the definition of interpretation is explanation or application. YHWH does not need anyone to explain what He is saying through a private doctrinal or lifestyle prejudice; He is able to say what He means. All scripture is given by inspiration of YHWH, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of YHWH may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Timothy 3:16, 17

One must come to the conclusion that ifs word is truth, and that He is going to sanctify us through truth two things will result: 1) YHWHs word will be unbroken and will be under providential preservation, and 2) Satan will work to the utmost in trying to destroy or counterfeit the true word of Eloah. David Loughran in his book, Bible Versions writes that one must come to the realization that providential preservation is as essential as believing in divine inspiration. 1 YHWHs word will be unbroken and providentially preserved The scripture cannot be broken. John 10:35 The words of YHWH are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O YHWH, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever. Psalms 12:6, 7 Forever, O YHWH, thy word is settled in heaven. Psalms 119:89 Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever. Psalms 119:152 I know that, whatsoever Elohim doeth, it shall be for ever: nothing can be put to it, nor any thing taken from it: and Elohim doeth it that men should fear before him. Ecclesiastes 3:14 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Matthew 24:35 o Yahushua only spoke what His Father told Him to; therefore, His word will endure forever as well: Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father

in me? The words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me he doeth the works. John 14:10 o To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. John 18:37, 38 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of YHWH, which liveth and abideth forever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of YHWH endureth for ever. 1 Peter 1:23-25 YHWH is not the author of confusion, but of Peace For YHWH is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints. 1 Corinthians 14:33 And the very Elohim of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray Elohim your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Master Yahushua Messiah. 1 Thessalonians 5:23 Favour be with you, mercy, and peace, from YHWH the Father, and from the Master Yahushua Messiah, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. 1 John 2:3 He does not want confusion connected with His word For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, YHWH shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, YHWH shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Revelation 22:18, 19

YHWH promises to preserve His word; this is what He asks in return: 1. That we have a willing heart to study His word: May we be like David and proclaim, Unto thee, O YHWH, do I lift up my soul. O my Elohim, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the Elohim of my salvation; on thee do I wait all day. Psalms 25:1-5 2. That we rightly divide His word: Study to shew thyself approved unto YHWH, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 3. To be doers of His word because we love Him: But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:22. For this is the love of YHWH, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. And this is love that we walk after his commandments. I John 5:3; 2 John 6 4. To teach His word to others graciously: And the servant of YHWH must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if YHWH peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 2 Timothy 2:24-26

YHWH makes a wonderful promise for those who will study His word Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding; If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures; Then shalt thou understand the fear of YHWH, and find the knowledge of Elohim. For YHWH giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 2:3-6 Satan is the Father of Liesthere is no truth in him Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. John 8:42 The Word was beginning to be attacked even in apostolic times Suppression of the truth False worship: Even in apostolic time, there were people who were beginning to change the word of YHWH. Paul says, For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of YHWH: (2 Corinthians 2:17). While in Rome Paul states that he was called to preach the gospel to even those who hold down or suppress the truth, For the wrath of YHWH is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth [hold down or suppress the truth] in unrighteousness (Romans 1:15, 18). He went on to say that some of the people in Rome had changed the glory of the uncorruptible Elohim and who had changed the truth of YHWH into a lie began to worship the creature more than the Creator (Romans 1:23, 25). Misrepresentation of Pauls words concerning the return of Messiah: That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Messiah is at hand. 2 Thessalonians 2:2 John was persecuted for defending the word of YHWH: I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Yahushua Messiah, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of YHWH, and for the testimony of Yahushua Messiah. Revelation 1:9

There will be a point in the near future where a man will claim to be YHWH and worthy of worship, and who will be able to deceive those who do NOT LOVE truth! Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called Elohim, or that is worshipped; so that he as Elohim sitteth in the temple of Elohim, shewing himself that he is Elohim. 2 Thessalonians 2:3, 4 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom YHWH shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all

Elder Loughran says that New Testament criticism is the BASIC BIBLE STUDY to begin with BEFORE any other Biblical or theological topic is studied, for we need to know that which we are using to understand the truth of YHWH REALLY is His word. The implication of this thought is that by what Bible we study from shows whether we will consciously or unconsciously promote truth or falsehood into the next generation. Elder Loughran quotes a textual critic J. Harold Greenlee who says it so well: New Testament textual criticism is therefore, the basic Bible study, a prerequisite to all other Biblical and theological work. This is not an overstatement of the importance of this issue. As believers we have the responsibility in our day and age of proclaiming the Gospel, the pure Gospel, the undiluted Gospel. We also have the right and privilege of being the next in the line of protecting Gods Word and proclaiming it. Each individual Christian will make a decision on this matter, of which text is correct. Unmistakably, this decision will be made, consciously or unconsciously, by every single believer. This decision is made when the believer decides which edition of the Bible he will use to read and study; and if he chooses a translation based upon corrupted manuscripts which reflect views which omit the deity of Christ, His blood atonement, His virgin birth, then the decision has been made to extend this error to the next generation. If however, todays Christian chooses a translation of the Word of God which is translated from the Traditional Text of the New Testament, the decision has been made to continue to see Gods working through His providence in providing His Word in its complete form, not only for this generation but for those to come. 2 Now that this report has laid the foundation that YHWHs word is truth, it is divinely inspired, providentially preserved, and that He is not the author of confusion but of peace, let us go forward and discuss how to determine the TRUE word of YHWH as produced in a specific version of the Bible. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew while the New Testament was written in Greek. A Bible Version is when the Hebrew or Greek text is translated into another languagefor instance an English version of the Bible. Another example of this could be the Strongs Concordance which translates the meaning of the Hebrew or Greek words of the Bible into English. Knowing the manuscripts that your/my Bible is based on is extremely important, for many have been privately interpreted to fit into doctrinal or behavioral prejudices rather than letting YHWH say what He actually meant. A translation is a translation of a translation meaning converting a Bible version from English into Chinese. As promoters of YHWHs word, we will want to translate Bibles into other languages that are based on pure manuscripts. A Bible paraphrase should NEVER be used because it is purely a mans opinion.

I would like to continue with the list of church fathers that Elder Loughran mentions because I have quoted most of these famous men in my book The Sacred Calendar. This will give you a brief history of their life.
Lucian of Antioch (AD 250-312): Lucian was born in Antioch in Syria where the early believers in Jesus were first called Christians (Acts 11:26). In his book Truth Triumphant the historian Benjamin George Wilkinson Ph.D writes this about Lucian: Lucian founded a college at Antioch which strove to counteract the dangerous ecclesiastical alliance between Rome and Alexandria. How bitter the situation became and how it finally split West and East will be clarified by the following four facts: First, the original founders of the ecclesiastical college at Alexandria strove to exalt tradition. Justin Martyr, as early as 150, had stood for this. Second, Clement [of Alexandria NOT of Rome], most famous of the Alexandrian college faculty and a teacher of Origen, boasted that he would not teach Christianity unless it was mixed with pagan philosophy. Third, Victor 1, bishop of Rome, entered a compact with Clement, about 190, to carry on research around the Mediterranean basin to secure support to help make Sunday the prominent day of worship in the church. Sunday was already a day exalted among the heathen, being a day on which they worshipped the sun; yet Rome and Alexandria well knew that most churches throughout the world sanctified Saturday as the Sabbath of the fourth commandment. Fourth, when Victor 1, in lordly tones, pronounced excommunication on all the churches of the East who would not with him make Easter always come on Sunday, Alexandria supported this exhibition of spiritual tyranny by the bishop of Rome. Lucian opposed Alexandrias policies and for this has been bitterly hated and his name kept in the background. (page 7) Bold is in the original; bracket material my emphasis. Patrick of Ireland (Born about AD 360 in Scotland): Wilkinson writes of Patrick: Patrick preached the Bible. He appealed to it as the sole authority for founding the Irish Church. He gave credit to no other worldly authority; he recited no creed. Several official creeds of the church of Rome had by that time been ratified and commanded, but Patrick mentions none. In his Confession he makes a brief statement of his beliefs, but he does not refer to any church council or creed as authority. The training centres he founded, which later grew into colleges and large universities, were all Bible schools. Famous students of these schools Columba, who brought Scotland to Christ, Adrian, who brought pagan England to the gospel, and Columbanus with his successors, who brought Christianity to German, France, Switzerland and Italytook the Bible as their only authority, describing the hand-written Bibles produced at these schools, says, In delicacy of handling and minute but faultless execution, the whole range of palaeography offers nothing comparable to the early Irish manuscriptsPatrick, like his example, Jesus, put the words of Scripture above the teachings of men. He differs from the papacy, which puts church tradition above the Bible. In his writings he nowhere appeals to the church of Rome for the authorization of his mission. Whenever he speaks in defense of his mission, he refers to God alone, and declares that he received his call direct from heavenPatrick believed that Christianity should be founded with the home and the family as its strength. Too often the Christian organizations of that age were centred in celibacy. This was not true in the Irish church and its Celtic daughters in Great Britain, Scotland and on the continent. The Celtic Church, as organized and developed under Patrick, permitted its clergy to marry. (pages 7 & 8) Bold in the original Columba in Scotland (AD 521): Columba possessed a superior education. He was familiar with Latin and Greek, secular and ecclesiastical history, the principals of jurisprudence, the law of nations, the science of medicine, and the law of the mind. He was the greatest Irishman of the Celtic race in mental powers; and he founded in Iona the most learned school in the British Islands, and probably in Western Europe for a long period. (page 8) Read about him being a Sabbath keeper in the next quote of that same page.

Hebrew Manuscripts Began with Aaronic Priests

What advantage then hath the Jew? ...Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them were committed the oracles of God. Romans 3:1, 2

Continued by Masorites Jewish Scholars

In his book Story of Our English Bible, W. Scott wrote over a hundred years ago concerning the reliability of the copies made by these faithful priests and scribes. It is well known that among the Jews it was the profession of the Masorites, or doctors of tradition, to transcribe the scriptures. We know to what extent these indefatigable scholars carried their respect for the letter; and when we read the rules under which their labours were carried on, we understand the use that the providence of God (who had confided his oracles to the Jews) made of their superstition. They reckoned the number of verses, words, and letters in each book. They tell us, for instance, that the letter A occurs forty-two thousand three hundred and seventy-seven times in the Bible; the letter B thirty-eight thousand two hundred and eighteen times; and so on to the end. They were scrupulous of changing the position even of a letter, though evidently misplaced, but limited themselves to noting in the margin, supposing some mystery was involved. They tell us which is the middle letter of the Pentateuch [First 5 books of OT], as well as of each of the books of which it is composed. They never allowed themselves to correct their manuscript; and if any mistake escaped them, they rejected the papyrus or the skin which they had blemished, and recommenced upon a fresh one; for they were equally interdicted from even correcting one of their own errors, and from retaining for their sacred volume a single parchment or skin in which an error had been madeThese facts, we repeat it, together with the astonishing preservation of the Hebrew text 1200 years more ancient than that of the Septuagint [Greek NT]), plainly tell us how the intervention of the might hand of God was needed in the destinies of the sacred book. Brackets I supplied In making copies of the original manuscripts, the Jewish scribes exercised the greatest possible care. When they wrote the name of God in any form they were to reverently wipe their pen, and wash their whole body before writing Jehovah lest that holy name should be tainted even in writing. The new copy was examined and carefully checked with the original almost immediately, and it is said that if only one incorrect letter was discovered the whole copy was rejected. Each new copy had to be made from an approved manuscript, written with a special kind of ink, upon skins made from a clean animal. The writer had to pronounce aloud each word before writing it. IN not case was the written word to be written from memory. The Majority Text
called

The Two Greek Texts

The Minority Text

Also known as

The Textus Receptus

Also known as the Traditional Received Text or the Byzantine Text. It was called the Majority Text because it is based on the vast majority of manuscripts still in existence. These existing manuscripts (MSS) were brought together by various editors: Lucian, Desiderius Erasmus, Stephanus, Beza, and the Elzevir brothers These manuscripts were given the name Textus Receptus in the 17th century The Textus Receptus was the foundational Greek document used by the Protestant reformers in the 16th and 17th century in translating the scriptures into the languages of Europe.

The Alexandrian Text

Why was the Textus Receptus the foundational Greek document used by the Reformers? It is based on about 90% of the 5000+ Greek manuscripts in existence; It is not mutilated with deletions, additions, and amendments as is the Minority Text; It agrees with the earliest versions of the Bible The Peshitta (AD 150), Old Latin Vulgate (157), and the Italic Bible (157) some 200 years BEFORE the Egyptian codices; It agrees with the vast majority of 86,000+ citations from scripture by the early church fathers; It is untainted with Egyptian philosophy and unbelief; It strongly upholds the fundamental doctrines of the Christian faith: the creation account in Genesis, the divinity of Yahushua Messiah, the virgin birth, His miracles, His bodily resurrection, His literal return and the cleansing power of the Saviours blood; and It was and still is an enemy of the Roman Church. The Minority Text

Also known as

The Textus Receptus

The Alexandrian Text

It is known as the Minority Text because only 5% of existing manuscripts use this text. The other 5% of manuscripts are neutral sometimes agreeing with the majority text while sometimes with minority text

The Protestant Reformers did not use the Minority Text when translating the Bible. Why? The Minority Text was the work of Egyptian scribes in Alexandria who did not accept the Bible as the Word of God or JESUS as the SON of GOD!; It abounded with alterations. Often a single manuscript being amended by several different scribes over a period of many years; something the Aaronic priests and Masorites would never have tolerated when making copies of the Scriptures; The Minority Texts omits approximately 200 verses from the Scriptures. This is equivalent to 1st and 2nd Peter; The Minority Texts contradict themselves in hundreds of places; and The Minority Texts are doctrinally weak and often incorrect.

Caution
Virtually every modern English Bible relies on the Minority Text as its underlying New Testament text in preference to the Textus Receptus

Satan is the one behind this, NOT any particular church because he is the enemy of souls!
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Where fore take unto you the whole armour of Elohim, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; Ephesians 6:12, 13 The material displayed on this page is adapted and or quoted from pages 14 and 15 of Bible Versions by David Loughran -- a Stewarton Bible School Publication 11

The Two Most Prominent Manuscripts of the Minority Text Codex Sinaiticus (Aleph) Codex Vaticanus (B)

Codex simply means the manuscripts were in book form with pages rather than in scroll form It was produced in the 4th Century. It contains nearly all of the New Testament plus it adds the Shepherd of Hermes and the Epistle of Barnabas. This manuscript was found in the trash pile in St. Catherines Monastery near Mount Sinai in 1844 by Mr. Tischendorf. It is extremely unreliable
On many occasions 10, 20, 30, 40 words are dropped through very carelessness. Letters, words or even whole sentences are frequently written twice over, or begun and immediately a clause is omitted because it happens to end in the same words as the clause preceding, occurs no less than 115 times in the New Testament. On nearly every page there are corrections and revisions, done by 10 different people. Lets Weigh the Evidence, Barry Burton

It was produced in the 4th Century. It is written on expensive vellum, a fine parchment originally from the skin of calf or antelope. This manuscript was found a 1000 years later in 1481 in the library of Rome, where it is currently held. Omits Scripture vital to Doctrine
This codex omits many portions of Scripture vital to Christian doctrine. Vaticanus omits Genesis 1:1 through Genesis 46:28; Psalms 106138; Matthew 16:2, 3; Romans 16:24; the Pauline Pastoral Epistles; Revelation; and everything in Hebrews after 9:14. It seems suspicious indeed that a MS possessed by the Roman Catholic church omits the portion of the book of Hebrews which exposes the mass as totally useless (Please read Hebrews 10:10-12). The mass in conjunction with the false doctrine of purgatory go hand in-hand to form a perpetual money making machine for Rome. Without one or the other, the Roman Catholic Church would go broke! It also omits portions of the Scripture telling of the creation (Genesis), the prophetic details of the crucifixion (Psalm 22), and of course, the portion which prophesies of the destruction of Babylon (Rome), the great whore of Revelation chapter 17. Samuel Gripp

Vaticanus and Sinaiticus disagree with each other over 3000 times in the gospels alone. Barry Burton

David O Fuller in his book Which Bible says that John William Burgon, a masterful Greek scholar of the highest rank, regarded the good state of the preservation of B (Codex Vaticanus) and ALEPH (Codex Sinaiticus) in spit of their exceptional age as proof not of their goodness but of their badness. If they had been good manuscripts, they would have been read to pieces long ago. The REAL English Word of YHWH Caution

Satans latest trick is to make one think the only difference between the King James and the New King James is the omission of the thees and thous. However, they are from OPPOSITE Greek texts!!!!!

Oldest & Best Bible students are often told that Codices Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are older and better than other manuscripts: the implication being that they must therefore, be more accurate. But this conclusion is wrong. We have already seen how Sinaiticus and Vaticanus are corrupt beyond measure. To be sure they are better in appearance, but certainly not in their content. .They are older, but older than what? They are older than other Greek manuscripts of the New Testament. But they are not older than the earliest versions of the Bible: the Peshitta [150], Italic [157], Waldensian [120] and the Old Latin Vulgate [157]: version which agree with the Majority text. These ancient versions are some 200 years older than Aleph and B. Yes Aleph and B are older than other Greek mss, but for anyone to suggest that they are more accurate is absurd. It is like someone saying You will find the greatest TRUTH being preached in the oldest and most beautiful cathedrals of the world, or, the most beautiful women have the best characters. King James Apologetics

The most common complaint about the King James Version is that it isnt modern enough that the language is Archaic containing too many thee and thou words. Why the King James Version should be Retained 1. The English of the King James Version is not the English of the early 17th century. To be exact, it is not the type of English that was ever spoken anywhere. It is biblical English, which was not used on ordinary occasions even by the translators who produced the King James Version. As H Wheeler Robinson (1940) pointed out, one need only compare the preface written by the translators with the text of their translation to feel the difference in style. And the observations of W A Irwin (1952) are to the same support. The King James Version, he reminds us, owes its merit, not to 17th century English which was different but to its faithful translation of the original. Its style is that of the Hebrew and of the New Testament Greek. Even in their use of thee and thou the translators were not following 17th century English usage but biblical usage, for at the time these translators were doing their work these singular forms had already been replaced by the plural you in polite conversation. 2. Those who talk about translating the Bible into the language of today never define what they mean by their expression. What is the language of today? The language of 1881 is not the language of today, nor the language of 1901, nor even the language of 1921. In none of these languages, we are told, can we communicated with todays youth. There are even some who feel that the best way to translate the Bible into the language of today is to convert it into folk songs. Accordingly, in some contemporary youth conferences and even worship services there is little or no Bible reading but only crude kinds of vocal music accompanied by vigorous piano and strumming guitars. But in contrast to these absurdities the language of the King James Version is enduring diction which will remain as long as the English language remains, in other words, throughout the foreseeable future. 3. The current attack on the King James Version and the promotion of modern-speech versions is discouraging the memorization of the Scriptures, especially by children. Why memorize or require your children to memorize something that is out of date and about to be replaced by something new and better? And why memorize a modern version when there are so many to choose from? Hence even in conservative churches children are growing up densely ignorant of the holy Bible because they are not encouraged to hide its life-giving words in their hearts. The word will bring LIFE to the soul (1 John 1:1-3). 4. Modern-speech Bibles are unhistorical and irreverent. The Bible is not a modern, human book. It is not as new as the morning newspaper, and no translation should suggest this. If the bible were this new, it would not be the Bible. On the contrary, the Bible is an ancient, divine Book, which nevertheless is always new because in it God reveals Himself. Hence the language of the Bible should be venerable as well as intelligible, and the King James Version fulfils these two requirements better than any other Bible in English. Hence it is the King James Version which converts sinners soundly and makes of them diligent Bible students. 5. Modern-speech Bibles are unscholarly. The language of the Bible has always savoured of the things of heaven rather than the things of earth. It has always been biblical rather

6. The King James Version is the historic Bible of English-speaking Protestants. Upon it God, working providentially, has placed the stamp of His approval through the usage of many generations of Bible-believing Christians. Hence, if we believe in Gods providential preservation of the Scriptures, we will retain the King James Version, for in doing so we will be following the clear leading of the Almighty. The King James Version Defended , by Edward F Hill, pages 218, 219 as quoted in Bible Versions, pages 25, 26 A Solemn Warning again taken from Edward F Hills book, The King James Defended In regard to the Bible versions many contemporary Christians are behaving like spoiled and rebellious children. They want a Bible version that pleases them no matter whether it pleases God or not. We want a Bible version in our own idiom, they clamor. We want a Bible that talks to us in the same way in which we talk to our friends over the telephone. We want an informal God, no better educated than ourselves, with a limited vocabulary and a taste for modern slang. And having thus registered their preference, they go their several ways. Some of them unite with the modernists in using the R.S.V. or N.E.B. Others deem the N.A.S.V. OR THE N.I.V. MORE EVANGELICAL. Still others opt for the T.E.V. or the Living Bible. But God is bigger than you are dear friend, and the bible version which you must use is not a matter for you to decide according to your whims and prejudices. It has already been decided for you by the workings of Gods special providence. If you ignore this providence and choose to adopt one of the modern versions, you will be taking the first step in the logic of unbelief. For the arguments which you must use to justify your choice are the same arguments which unbelievers use to justify theirs, the same method. If you adopt one of these modern versions, you must adopt the naturalistic New Testament textual criticism upon which it rests. In other words, naturalistic textual criticism regards the special, providential preservation of the Scriptures as of no importance for the study of the New Testament text. But if we concede this, then it follows that the infallible inspiration of the Scriptures is likewise unimportant. For why is it important that God should infallibly inspire the Scriptures, if it is not important that He should preserve them by His special providence? Where, oh where, dear brother or sister, did you ever get the idea that it is up to you to decided which Bible version you will receive as Gods holy Word? As long as you harbour this false notion, you are little better than an unbeliever. As long as you cherish this erroneous opinion, you are entirely on your own. For you the Bible has no authority, only that which your rebellious reason deigns to give it. For you there is no comfort, no assurance of faith. Cast off, therefore, this carnal mind that leads to death! Put on the spiritual mind that leads to life and

peace! Receive by faith the true Text of Gods Holy Word, which has been preserved down through the ages by His special providence and now is found in the Masoretic Hebrew text, the Greek Textus Receptus, and the King James Version and other faithful translations. Bible Versions, page 33

Summary This short article was intended to be an introduction to the concept that the Bible we study from is very important because not all Bibles are translated on an equal footing. It was my intention to show how YHWH has given His word to mankind by divinely inspiring the authors as they wrote it down, and that He then would providentially preserve it. Divine inspiration and providential preservation go hand in hand and cannot be separated, for if we do not believe in providential inspiration there isnt any need for divine inspiration. The Bible becomes no better than the best or worst self-help book on the market depending upon which version one reads from. It can then be changed from generation to generation to supposedly better meet the needs of the people. There is no one better than YHWH, Himself for meeting every need mankind has. YHWH calls us through His Son promising us that He will preserve both our spirit, soul, and our body: YHWH is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Yahushua Messiah our Master. 1 Corinthians 1:9. And the very Elohim of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Master Yahushua Messiah. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23, 24 The King James Bible is the true word of YHWH for the English speaking countries. The key is to realize any Bible based on the Majority text [or Textus Receptus] will be the Word of YHWH. The next step in your study is to actually get a copy or read on line Bible Versions for yourself. At the back of the book MANY of the changes and omissions of the Minority Text are listed for one to look up. My husband and I took one Sabbath afternoon and looked up every citation. It was very enlightening. We saw where many verses were completely missing; we saw where the omission of words would change a text doctrinally; this is what totally convinced us that Satan is trying to keep as many people away from YHWHs true word as he possibly can. Messiah is saying to us:

To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, That I should bear witness unto the truth. Everyone that is of the truth heareth my voice. It is the Spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you they are spirit, and they are life.. You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free. John 18:37, 38; John 6:63; John 8:32
