Dear St. Dennis Parishioners, We have had the blessing of celebrating Vacation Bible School for the past four summers. Weve had many wonderful memories swinging in the rain forest, exploring the canyons, building churches in Africa under the Baobab tree, and finally chilling out at the beach, DUDE! Normally, at this time you would be hearing about the 2012 Summer VBS. However, this upcoming summer, several of us will be involved in the extensive training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd to support its growth as a program in our St. Dennis community. In addition, Christen, myself, and other members of the parish staff will also be immersed in making revisions to our current Generations of Faith program as we conclude our first six years of GOF and look forward to many more years of family faith formation. Development of these two areas will involve much prayer, dedication, and time and will therefore, be our focus this upcoming summer. We are looking forward to being with our parish children and sharing God's Word in future summers. Once again, we are blessed to have such a vibrant community to share God's love in and from which we can extend Christ's Good News to others. Thank you for all you do to make St. Dennis the wonderful faith community it is! Dear Family, Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia! Jesus is Risen! Happy Easter to all on behalf of our entire staff; Fr. FAITH FORMATION
Preparation for Sacrament of Baptism: Your family must be registered active members of St. Dennis. Baptismal Prep Mtgs. are divided into two meetings, 4 weeks apart on Saturdays, 9-10:30 am. Parents and Godparents are required to attend both classes before a date is set. For more info. and dates, call the Parish Office at 815-838-2592, ext. 123. At least one Godparent must be a confirmed Catholic, active in their faitha letter of permission is required from their church.

Donations needed: mens t-shirts, gently used/ new pillowcases, sheets, material, fabric glue, bias tape, Velcro, religious cards & elastic. Giving Glory to God Church Restoration Project

For those who are interested, there are additional items available to memorialize and dedicate. Some examples are the tabernacle, lectern, carpeting, marble flooring, reconciliation room, lighting of clock tower and steeple cross, Priests, Deacons and Servers chairs.
